It's to stop retarded people from sticking their hands in the sockets. I guess they got tired of cleaning up the bodies, other than that I see no point.

Your posts are really hard to read.
Wow.... Now he is yelling at me because he can't do anything with Flash and he thinks I disabled/deleted Flash. He says he can't find it on the app store, so he is in the process of restoring it too.
What the fuck is wrong with him? Seriously, he is a fucking dumbass.
Is your dad named Steve?
What's you guys and your plugs with switches? I don't get the point of that
I'm a person that loves switches and knobs and all that kind of shit to mess with.
So I would LOVE some of these outlets with built in switches.
Is your dad named Steve?
No. Why?

Someone needs to send you a safe
Infact i might have one if you want one?
I'm guessing the random spacing makes them hard to read

so you can keep something plugged in while still being able to turn it on and off
especially helpful with appliances like vacuum cleaners that do not have an on button but just turn on when you plug it in, same with toasters and grills

and the kind of grill that starts grilling when you plug it in
and my vacuum has a button but i have used some that do not

Can you change to a higher resolution? I'm using a netbook and text looks fine from here.
BESIDES, THAT IS NOT THE POINT the point is there is nothing wrong with having another button for the actual socket itself how can you argue that an extra feature is a bad thing, if you want it on all the time then just leave the switch flipped all the time
Can you change to a higher resolution? I'm using a netbook and text looks fine from here.
Nope theres only 2 and im on the highest one there is

Try zooming out, it should be in the view menu.
But according to your dad Macs don't get viruses
I already asked him about that, he never answered.
Whats up with that Mandrith?
But according to your dad Macs don't get viruses
He probably thinks that all women are secretly robots and the sky is made of cheese, so expecting any form of logic from this man is out of the question.

In North America if we want a plug with switches we wire one up behind a lightswitch, works fine
But we never want plugs with switches
I love the UK plug. I managed to get something without an earth pin to plug in yesterday :v:
edit: It wasn't easy, it was a cheap extension lead.

Wow, I learned that when I was 5.
More content from my dumbass dad!
My dad came home today, and said to the family that he has bought us the "Best, most advanced and powerful Mac to come out so far, that is far better than any Wintel computer ever made (Glaring at me as he says this)" and pulls out of a Apple store bag a brand new 3G 64GB iPad, and stylus. He is now sitting in the living room trying to find an antivirus and a photoshop app for iPad.
He just threw $799 dollars down the drain for a stupid frickin oversized iPod touch.
Wait, he's trying to find an antivirus app?
What's the point?
So, there's a friend of mine whose family always used only Macs. Can't blame them for being tech-unsavvy artists, but hey, at least they only have 2, one REALLY old and a new one.
He decides he's tired of Apple faggotry and orders a laptop (of course running Win7) with a really nice price and neat specs.
He tells his professor who replies "enjoi ur viruss herp derp". Friend replies with "safety isn't worth 1000 bucks" and walks away LIKE A BOSS.
Another friend sets him up a Steam account and gifts him the Orange Box, since it was on a special offer. The laptop should arrive within two weeks and he's already over-excited.
Now a little time-shifting backstory: I've been using XP since today, because I didn't have spare money for 7. (it's kinda pricey, have to admit)
Yesterday he told me that laptop included another special offer: a spare Windows 7 CD for 5 DAMN BUCKS. Guess who'll get it FOR FREE.
This is a great day.

Thanks. To repay his kindness for the free win7, I'll teach him to manage Windows properly (protection, cleaning, defrags etc.) because all these years on iAmgay products made him rather oblivious about how real computers work.
He's great at photoshop, though. My avatar is a witness.
