The Sony games manager. It's like the EA downloader, minus all functionality.
Yahoo Messenger
Anything produced by Apple, (Quicktime, iTunes) I swear to god every 5 seconds it's telling me to update this shit.
IE, Norton, McAfee, Rhapsody
MacOS
iTunes
ICQ
Bonzi Buddy. I was like 8 when I got it. :saddowns:
- QuickTime (Frustratingly slow, horrible UI) - SparkBrowser (Already said, but it's the shittiest browser I've EVER seen. I'd prefer to use IE6).
The spammy ads that comes with most instant messengers on the bottom of them, where there should be nothing. (mainly MSN, but Yahoo does it too.)
Windows Live Messenger. It seems to take up more space and have more ads and yet have less and less content I actually want to see (i.e. the people I want to talk to.) Pidgin took care of that.
QuickTime, RealPlayer, Windows Live Messenger, Games for Windows Live, Starforce crap (thanks to Trackmania Sunrise, thankfully it got removed in United)
EA Download Manager. Games I launched FROM the download manager was claimed not to be owned by me BY the download manager all the time.
A virus. Wait? A virus is a programs. Just a malicious one.
Windows update "What's this? You're downloading a 15gb game in Steam overnight? Well since you are asleep and can't click postpone, I'm just gonna go ahead and restart now k?" Every time I get a new game I swear it does that.
If you're using any copy of Windows with Group Policy support (7 Professional / Ultimate, don't think HomePremium has it), do this: Start Type "Group Policy", click the entry for "Edit Group Policy" Computer Configuration > Administrative Templates > Windows Components > Windows Update Right click "No auto-restart with logged on users for scheduled automatic updates installations", and Edit Set it to "Enabled" OK, then close the policy manager Reboot for good measure Windows Update will now install updates, but instead of counting down to a restart it'll just ask you if you want to restart (it won't automatically restart if there's someone logged in)

Quicktime Itunes Games for windows Live EA download manager
Digital cameras that need special software just to dump the pics, because it isn't recognized as a standard mass storage device. :argh: MP3 Players do this bullshit too, and it pisses me off to no end... I just want to manually drag and drop, it couldn't be simpler.
How is Skype bad?
Enjoy having your connection fucked over if you have a good (NATless) connection. When I launch Skype on any machine on home lan, it creates literally hundreds of connections, hogs the machine it runs on, and sucks out my bandwidth in no time. Sure, if you have a shitty connection behind a NAT, they probably don't have much use for you. But dare to have a good connection and they will promptly abuse you like a cheap whore.
Gamemaker. I was like 7.
:what: Its a game development platform aimed at beginners. The fact that you were 7 and used it is a testament to that. Some college professors use it for their classes and there are highschool classes based off of it as well. Its very useful software.
MSN Messenger (Just plain shitty, Skype is 1000x better) iTunes (Really poor design) Quicktime (Can't play shit!) Some Wifi manager software (The inbuilt windows one is fine, why include another, shittier one with the driver?)
When i was a kid, and had a pre-built, this came on it, and it was fucking hard to get all the shit it had with it off.
flashdrive drivers, they are all annoying pieces of crap
Some Wifi manager software (The inbuilt windows one is fine, why include another, shittier one with the driver?)
My Linksys WUSB54GS v2 drivers come with the 'Linksys Wireless Monitor'. I normally just install the drivers manually by selecting the files in the Device Manager.

This one has probably cause most people some amount of annoyance. Microsoft eHome Infrared Tranciever
How is Skype bad?
Takes forever to start up after a cold boot compared to other voice chat programs The red 'x' doesn't close the program, it only minimizes it No PTT functionality Fucking annoying as fuck Another thing I'd like to add to the list- Adobe acrobat reader everytime it auto-updates it creates a desktop icon. it updates every week edit; I also hate/love steam It's really bulky, takes forever to connect and the offline mode is broken it also stops responding for ~30 seconds every other hour or so
