Why would you use an OS that is one day old...
I know right, absolutely not one person on the planet should use a new OS. [editline]7th October 2011[/editline]
Windows
Specificaly, what do you not like about it?
I had pre release of Windows 7 from school it didn't really change much.
I had pre release of Windows 7 from school it didn't really change much.
You can't have been looking hard enough then, even the release candidate of Windows 7 made quite a few changes from previous Windows versions. Unless you were foolish enough to think a pre-RC build would actually be the complete OS.
Zango i was little kid ok i thought it had some good games on it. never realized it was a virus.
HP Games that came with my 2006 prebuilt. Never forget
Steam, as nice as the features are it freezes and gives trouble far more then it should.
iTunes, QuickTime, SparkBrowser, Safari, Internet Explorer 6, RealPlayer, GameMaker, Windows Movie Maker, Norton, McAffee, Kapersky, ZoneAlarm. Oh and MyWebBar and WhenU. Seemed like it installed with bloody everything a few years ago. There we go, one of those for certain.
Windows HP Printer Drivers for Windows Quicktime iTunes Pando Media Booster GFWL Every single VAIO app
canon printer drivers, there only ever a exe format so I have to extract them then find the drivers that are compatible with Windows server 2003- print server . But they have a god awful naming scheme making it a guessing game to find the driver. especially since I can only get 64 bit to work.
Rocketdock, msn
Windows Vista
I don't understand all the Vista hate, it works fine for me.
safari web browser for windows what the fuck was i doing
safari web browser for windows what the fuck was i doing
Still better than IE.
AVG. Never using that again because it's firewall blocked EVERY program from accessing the internet, and had to spend a few hours unblocking everything and perfecting my settings.
Windows live one care.
what the fuck is pando media booster.
Java
iTunes. Seriously, the amount of times it has crashed and left nothing but the window border displaying is just insane.
Windows Vista, I fucking HATE Windows Vista! *runs game.exe* [Really?] *clicks yes* [Absolutely sure?] *clicks yes again* [I'm tasked with overly protecting you, are you sure you want to install the 100% legal, virus-free, cost-free game you just downloaded?] *clicks "yes you fucking assfuck, let me install my motherfucking game!"* [You sure?] *clicks no, turns off UAC* [blue screen] :suicide:

Open steam. Log in my user Double click on the game I want to play. Wait for the game to load. Play the game. Exit the game. Go browse the web. Shut down/hibernate the PC. No BSOD-s or UAC errors included. Wiht UAC it was the same. UAC popped up only like, once day maybe. But it fucked up with Comodo so yeah, I disabled it.

I once decided to install AOL for shits and giggles. This was a mistake.
Bonzi Buddy (Back in the 90s was like 8) Yahoo Messenger ICQ Avast AV (Just didn't want to work)
Avast AV (Just didn't want to work)
That is the most useless thing someone can say when they have a problem. What exactly was it doing?
Bonzai Buddy
I know I've already posted here, but I changed my mind. McAfee. So bullshit that the firewall detected a virus but the antivirus didn't... The best thing you can do with it:

The best thing you can do with it:
Why is it in a recycle bin? Its not like McAfee can be refined into anything useful. Just chuck it in the trash. Anyway Quicken is the biggest piece of shit I've ever had the displeasure of using. Skinned over Windows 3.1 interface. Its program folder has like 300 .dll files and .exes with greyscale 16x16 icons. Oh and did I mention it can't connect to my bank? Not because it doesn't support it, but because Quicken is a horribly coded hunk of digital trash that only has a 0.00000001% chance of connecting succesfully. And when it does connect it downloads so slow that it doesn't even make a blip on my network moniter. This doesn't even scratch the surface on how shitty it is. Fuck Quicken!
Probably the worst program would be those download managers that you install but do not really work, or are blocked by those sites you download from. I also do not like internet explorer, for some reason unknown. The only time I use internet explorer is after a fresh install of an operating system, so that I could download another browser like firefox or chrome.
That is the most useless thing someone can say when they have a problem. What exactly was it doing?
To be honest with you can't remember but there was some sort of problem (no doubt my fault) , but it has stuck in the back of my mind, I think blue-screening was involved though this was on an old computer. That being said I know it's a great program it just didn't want to work that day and it got me raging pretty hard. I could probably be persuaded to give it another shot.
