7-Zip is still better by a large margin.
Oh yeah, definitely.
Anything Microsoft (Including Skype) WinRar (Slowest fucking algorithm ever) When Norton comes preinstalled.
iTunes Quicktime Mozzila firefox Norton Telstra Stuff OSX Doubletwist Internet explorer Windows live essentials 2011 (excluding security essentials)
iTunes Quicktime Mozzila firefox Norton Telstra Stuff OSX Doubletwist Internet explorer Windows live essentials 2011 (excluding security essentials)
reasoning behind this?
reasoning behind this?
The latest Firefox versions are really damn good IMO.
reasoning behind this?
I couldn't use at all. It was extremely slow (taking nearly 30 seconds to open a webpage) and would freeze my entire system to the point where pressing the reset button was the only option. I was running the latest firefox (7.0.1) I like the features and all but due to that i had to put it under worst programs

Does not warrant assuming the software itself is bad, i can run the latest nightly perfectly fine across all of my devices (excluding said pentium M laptop, which i just use uzbl on anyway).
- Norton 360 - Origin - iTunes - irfanview (Took over a minute to open, slow as shit) - AOL
Pepper;32850465']Origin
what's wrong with origin?
what's wrong with origin?
Everything.
what's wrong with origin?
In my opinion, it's not bad by itself, but it's EA and it's useless compared to Steam.
Windows Media Player probably.

Both my laptops can run it (ones brand new the other is about 8 years old) yet my gaming PC cant. Its very strange that something allot more powerful cant handle it
Everything.
Best answer ever, nominate this man for all the awards! Seriously, "everything", is the answer of people without a real problem. Origin is fine, all the people who have added it to this thread are just being biased fanbabies. The client works pretty much 100% of the time, it is a shit ton more stable than Steam, and is a lot more lightweight too. It isn't meant to be a direct competitor to Steam, EA know this, as they only have their games on it, they cannot compete. But it is nowhere near as bad as anybody makes out. And it is still in development at this point (Origin may just be EADM, but it is a complete overhaul, so it's pretty much starting from scratch). Unless anybody can provide me non-refutable reasons, that are actual problems, as to why Origin is so terrible, you are all fucking morons.
-GFWL (Not completely bad, but having a connection to GFWL in order to save your game is stupid/annoying) -ASUS bloatware -Internet Explorer -Avast! recently (I took MSE instead)
Windows Media Player probably.
It's not the best at all, but it does the job really.
Chkdsk Yes HAL.DLL may be corrupt, No, you may not delete it! ASUS motherboard software, it spams me with UAC requests even if I just take it out of hibernation/sleep, a shame as its real useful. Skype for Linux also.
Chkdsk Yes HAL.DLL may be corrupt, No, you may not delete it! Skype for Linux also.
I can't let you do that chkdsk.
It's not the best at all, but it does the job really.
I find VLC to be better for videos especially

Rude.
Rude.
Sarcasm.
AVG
- irfanview (Took over a minute to open, slow as shit)
I think I have that on my 486 laptop :v:.
To those who hate windows media player, try the SRS WOW effects. They make music sound amazing. Try it someday.
- irfanview (Took over a minute to open, slow as shit)
I fucking love irfanview, it's blazing fast for me. Tons faster than the Windows default.
I "was" a fan of SpeedFan. Although now I know better, HWmonitor has always been trust worthy.
