It didn't give me that.

[editline]18th June 2011[/editline]

The HZ27WC is the only one with free shipping, probably making it the best deal. Not to mention it's only 369 pounds.
1/2 weeks pay, not bad
So is anyone planning on getting one yet?

I am, hopefully before the end of next month, just got a second summer job.
Goanna rock the C model probably. ALSO it only has an 8.8 ms input lag, tell me there's a better deal now.

Thats even faster then my samsung TN panel.
I want a manufacturer to make like a 37" monitor with 2560 resolutions. I want the restolution, but pixel pitch doesn't bother me and I want that massive monitor size.
I want to get a Dell U3012 when they come out but 30" isn't big enough for 2560x1600 in my opinion.
37 is a bit to big don't you think?
Dells 30 inchers are way to expensive imo, 1100=1500 bucks is pretty intense.
1/2 weeks pay, not bad
You get paid £800 a week?
I jelly.

I think for sitting one to three feet from a monitor (average viewing distance?) a 27" or 30" is the probably the largest you'll need to go to fit the full screen in your vision, if you get any larger you'd be having to move your eyes/head constantly, my friend used to use a 1080p 42" and it doesn't look too bad in terms of quality from a normal monitor viewing distance, but you couldn't play like that because in order to see the whole screen you needed to be sat a good 5 foot if not more, he swapped it for a 30" apple cinema display two weeks after buying it and he told me it was the best decision he ever made.
Anything over 27-30" for a monitor is just compensating.
My current monitors native res is 2048x1152 which is pretty massive.
But it sucks being a gamer because I can't go native full-screen on any modern games without my computer melting.
Upgrade that shit.
How can your PC melt at a res just barely over 1080p?
Fuck 2560x1440, 2560 x 1600 master race http://accessories.us.dell.com/sna/productdetail.aspx?c=us&l=en&s=hea&cs=RC968571&sku=A2407709&~ck=dellSearch&baynote_bnrank=0&baynote_irrank=2

$11,007.99 btw
Also I think it's black n' white.
Glad to see there are other non-TN lovers here. I use an HP LP2475w, love it.

My point is mainly, I want that resolution, but I don't want that high of pixel density. I'd like to have a medium sized TV screen, but with the clarity of a monitor.
You'd need a pretty strong desk for something that heavy.

Eizo monitors are the best you can get for video and photo editing. Though a normal unrich fuck shouldn't be able to afford it. 5 grand, geez!

Yea, it's greyscale.
Also, funfact:
It's designed specifically for mammogram images

Waitwaitwait
There are monitors specifically designed for looking at boobs?
Cheapest one isn't worth it, if you're going to buy a high end 1440p monitor than get the whole thing, get the one with the 1.07 billion colors.

Holy shit, that tax is the price of a 22" monitor here.
Pffft, that monitor's for kids... real men use 36.4", 4096×2160 displays :smug:

Right?

By doing it like that, the screen shouldn't cost more than $200'ish to produce using 1366x768 screens.
By doing it like that, the screen shouldn't cost more than $200'ish to produce using 1366x768 screens.
Yeah I know... those are 4 1920x1080 screens grafted together, though. One would think it'd be WAY cheaper to produce...
Does that mean it has to have 4 video inputs instead of one?
Depending on the way the panel is lit, you might still get gaps, if they managed to do bottom lit CCFL then it might work. But my understanding is that you still get a gap, it's not pixel perfect.

That's just because you're viewing an image of the monitor on a regular screen, not designed for looking at boobs.
Upgrade that shit.

I'll guarantee nobody would take a TN screen if they could get an IPS. The only situation I could see would be serious gaming where the higher response time on some P-IPS monitors could be an issue.
