I have a lot of calculus homework due tomorrow. It's 8:45, I haven't started any of it. #CollegeProblems [sp]i'm failing calculus for that reason[/sp] :v:
I'm the same way with my Java class. I figured out that I can skip the final project and still pass with a decent grade.
Just wait until you have to graph a given function, that part's a bitch
I can graph functions to get slope and everything correctly, and with critical points I can get it close to it's actual shape. And that's all my teacher cares about [editline]10th April 2013[/editline] just tried doing a win8 gesture on my hackintosh. woops
I can graph functions to get slope and everything correctly, and with critical points I can get it close to it's actual shape. And that's all my teacher cares about
Wow you guys gets off easy. We have to find the critical points, inflection points, x and y int, vertical and horizontal/slant asymptote, and limits at infinity to get full marks for a graphing question. [editline]10th April 2013[/editline] You have to graph it right AND do your work right to get the points too
We have to graph all that too, but since we aren't allowed calculators on the test the questions aren't too tough. It's usually one "find the critical points and concave and convex," "find the asymptotes" and each one is an individual question.
WOOOO WOOOO content somewhat I guess. Well I am taking an A+ class and my instructor told me that voltage variance is okay for power supply and that it did not really matter for a computer, that he also says that you have to have 2 ram modules in the motherboard to see the ram or the motherboard doesn't see it at all. Though he did say that some really cheap ones were the ones that did that after I said something about it.
that he also says that you have to have 2 ram modules in the motherboard to see the ram or the motherboard doesn't see it at all.
iirc, a lot of old computers (on of my dell boxes does) do that. [editline]11th April 2013[/editline] also, i need ideas for what to do with this poweredge 1950.
iirc, a lot of old computers (on of my dell boxes does) do that. [editline]11th April 2013[/editline] also, i need ideas for what to do with this poweredge 1950.
Yeah though he was talking about modern hardware.
iirc, a lot of old computers (on of my dell boxes does) do that.
I'm assuming its pretty old? I have a Pentium II Compaq that only needs one SDRAM slot filled and that's from '97-98 (granted, I know some BIOS's can have weird designs). I know RDRAM did require both slots to be filled though.

fark. this is prob the real reson u quit, rite?
I feel like when I look somewhere, my eyes are trying to not look where I want them to. Also my teeeeth hurt

It says that if you want to have any more than 2gb's of memory, you need to use at least 2 modules. [editline]11th April 2013[/editline] Huh, so according to this article, todays bitcoin crashes were due to DDoS attacks.

Unbiased opinion on what mailserver you should use, as said by a chinese guy:
* Postfix: Your mail can now have the distinction of being deleted by 53 individual subservers * Sendmail: Priority treatment if you can write, while holding down your Shift key, an m4 macro to calculate the airspeed velicoty of an unladen swallow. All other messages will be summarily deleted in 6-8 weeks, or whenever the queue daemon catches up, whichever is later * Exim: Conveniently marks every message as "unrouteable" to reduce the hassle of making up reasons to bounce mail * Courier: Promptly delivers, but then quickly hides, all mail * Qmail: Might actually receive mail from DJB. The rest of the world will receive rude, copyrighted bounce messages. * Exchange: Storing mail is irrelevant since the server isn't up often enough to actually receive any. This server is also perfectly secure unless it is running.
* hMailServer: Perfect in every way... except it's windows only.
Had sex ed. Two cartoons, simple stuff. One guy ran out of the class in the middle of the first cartoon... To the toilet.
Had sex ed. Two cartoons, simple stuff. One guy ran out of the class in the middle of the first cartoon... To the toilet.
describe the cartoons in explicit amount of details plz
describe the cartoons in explicit amount of details plz
Basic characters (comic outlines), A cartoon vagina and an erect dick, mother and a father humping like rabbits in bed and childbirth. Eh, nothing that I didn't know before.
I always forget that not everyone here is my age...
I always forget that not everyone here is my age...
How old are you again?
22
The only thing close to sex ed I have is the process of sperm till the egg and what hinders it (like it has to go up using slime) and which products reduce the chance of pregnancy. (Biology sucks) [editline]11th April 2013[/editline] It's a bit different coming from animal tests and LC (Lethal Concentration)
Also I'm finally getting to record for skyfilm ep2 and the math involved is annoying. I have to do manual offline recording. Basically I force the game engine to slow down, I record at like 6fps, and then speed it up. THe confusing part is that for the second episode, I wanted to do moving shots, which means I need to control movement speeds in the TFC camera mode. So I do the math for how slow I need the game. So, I record 6fps, and to get it to 24fps I need to speed it up by 4x, which means I need to slow down the game by atleast 4x. But I want 4x blending for subtle motion blur and smoother movement in the trees, so I slow it down another 4x, so I run it 16x slower or SGTM 0.083 @6fps gives me that effective speed. Here is where it gets confusing, movement is controlled by SUCSM, I like how .1 feels. So, logically, You'd set it to 16x slower than .1 to make it work out. But I recorded about 20 minutes of 0.0625 speed and it moved so slowely. Even though I'm interpreting the footage from 6fps to 96fps and then blended to 24. I don't get it, unless it's taking 0.0625 and seeing it as a much slower value than it really is. Or it's related to framerate or something idk.
First world problem ^
I think it's related to FPS, as when I turned off recording lock it sped up a bit. Oh well, I'm testing. I'd like to somehow run SSAA or temporal AA on this game. So much flicker.
Overheard this in class just a minute ago "You can't have this many icons on your desktop, they make it run very slow"
Overheard this in class just a minute ago "You can't have this many icons on your desktop, they make it run very slow"
Maybe there were tens of thousands of icons
Overheard this in class just a minute ago "You can't have this many icons on your desktop, they make it run very slow"
I have desktop icons disabled, 2speedy4me.
Maybe there were tens of thousands of icons
Not really, about 20 or so. [editline]11th April 2013[/editline]
I have desktop icons disabled, 2speedy4me.
Me too, I'm posting this at the speed of light.
