Was gonna do that then I got sent a pdf file of how and how not to pack it. I'll just do what you say as it's the only thing I can do. I don't know why they'd expect the average end user to have something like this http://reflexpackaging.com/product/3-5-hdd-single-pack
I've RMA several hard drives with Seagate before, they're not going to be a picky bitch about the packing. As long as you took reasonable procedures to protect the drive, they'll take it.
You're not their bitch, you don't have to suck up to them
Yeah, because fuck being nice. Plus, there has been people who sent candy along with their RMA, and they got an upgrade in exchange.
Anyone RMA'd anything from Seagate/Samsung before?
I sent a hard drive back to Seagate recently. They sent me a replacement then I shipped mine back.

Protip, don't eat a bunch of brownies before a afternoon nap. I fantasized about killing myself for maybe 4 hours, and it felt great in my dream.

Fuck you, I'll eat as many brownies as I want.
Really why would you want to eat so many brownies before napping the correct thing to do is to simply nap then eat the brownies. You can enjoy the brownies more, and the nap would be great. Talking about naps I will need to get to sleep soon, I am kinda bad for staying up.
Why would you nap?
Why would you nap?
Because super tired, things to do soon, got enough time to nap before shit happens. A common scenario.
I just sleep during the night :v:

I once ate like a quarter of a lemon pie right before bed and dreamed about gutting myself, straight horizontal line through the belly, and playing with my organs
it felt amazing. What's with desserts and weird dreams?
desserts are actually FBI nanobots sent to infiltrate our thoughts

We don't have the FBI in Australia so I'm safe.
We don't have the FBI in Australia so I'm safe.
How do you know that? They could be infiltrating your thoughts right now!
Only way to be safe is to wear aluminium headwear!
We don't have the FBI in Australia so I'm safe.
that's what someone whose thoughts were infiltrated by the FBI would say
Have you guys seen this yet? Randall's up to cryptic shit again, there's been updates every half hour for almost 50 hours now.

I'm clean, I swears it.
I really should clean the dust out of my computer more often. My CPU went down 5c at idle and about 10c at load. Have to love having access to an air compressor to clean out a shit-ton of dust.

I tried to reverse engineer his system yesterday.
When you load the comic, it will send a request to one of 7 servers, which will return the filename of the latest image. It should automatically update the image every half an hour or so (Meaning you don't have to refresh manually).
The thing is, the 7 servers where it gets the latest image, the webserver itself is made in Haskell (Odd enough as it is) and is made for extremely heavy load. It can handle up to 80k-90k hits A SECOND before it starts to struggle, so he has the capacity to handle about 500k hits a second with this set up.
I have no fucking clue why Randall needs this kind of shit, but he's got it (Surely XKCD doesn't even get CLOSE to that...?). But it looks like the image fileserver doesn't have an accessible copy of the next image until it's time for to be displayed, so no point in bruteforcing or trying to crack his current system. It's cryptic and weird as fuck.
I'm not confused by the comic itself, but his system. What is he planning?
He'll just put up a full-res terabrt as april 1st's comic and redirect all reddit traffic to his website

It is wierd, I fantasized about all the ways I could end my life and how my friends and family would be impacted. And it was awesome. I imagined hanging myself, or cutting off my own head, or jumping off a building and feeling all my bones crushing instantly.
Obviously no pain was involved, so it was more of my brain just simulating emotions.

I bought a small one then realised that if/when it arrives that 4.5 GH/s will just be the norm so really the same as GPU mining now.
So I canceled my order.

A single high end ATI card is only capable of mining at ~700MH on average, and the payoff is going to be even less when the difficulty increases due to ASICs. No matter how GPU develops, it can never catch up to the speed of ASICs.
I'm getting real tired of your shit, Google.
I want to use a fucking username on Youtube AND I CANT.
You used to be cool, man.
Writing bash scripts with pen and paper with time pressure. Screw that. My whole process is write something -> try it -> screw up -> see what screwed up -> write something to fix it -> repeat
Also seems that normal students can fiddle around quite a bit on the school PC's. I seem to have full admin access. Never noticed before

My point was that when everyone has an asic, then mining with a low end one will still be getting a low reward because a lot of people have high end ones.
Some people know I have an Asus ROG laptop but after bringing it to a few city hall meetings where desk space is extremely limited or even none at all depending on the location of the meeting (City Chambers, Court Room, Local Community gathering buildings) or where meetings can last more then the 2-3 hours the battery has in it and outlets are too far or none at all I'm thinking about a surface pro.
What kinda really makes me upset though Is I visited the Microsoft store at my local mall. I was looking at the surface RT cause all I literally want one for is for notes, typing during meetings and having access to the web. I asked if I could use my office 365 subscrition on the RT and I was told "No you can't" where he then went over to the main desk and then came back and said "yeah, no you can't. You need the Pro if you want to use it, and I'm pretty sure the pro will suit you best". Even though he had no idea what I wanted it for. Later I decided if I go surface, I should go full surface. So I guess his words infected me.
Anyway, I looked up and apparently people are using there office 365 versions on it so my likely hood of returning to that store just because of him is nill, Though I always like immediate product (And I don't mind sales tax, i prefer paying it in some cases)
tl;dr, Is the surface worth buying atm? Or should I wait.
I was pretty sure the RT comes with some parts of office anyway.
