Ultimate is very different than Tri.
Ultimate is very different than Tri.
Ahhh, ok. That makes more sense.
One game is no justification for buying a whole console.
For most people it is, and that applies to all consoles. People would buy the Xbox/360 JUST for Halo.
Ahhh, ok. That makes more sense.
I mean it plays the same and has mostly the same items but it has way more monsters and crap.
It's about 150+ hours of killing big ass monsters.

Yes, but after that they'd still have other games to buy.
The list of released games that aren't ports of old games the Wii couldn't handle is:
Monster Hunter 3 Ultimate
New Super Mario Bros. U
Rabbids Land
ZombiU
Nintendo Land
Five games. That's it. A few months after release, there are only five games that any gamer interested in playing hasn't already played on some other console.

You're forgetting "special version" of Need for Speed (if you like having fancy PC features on a console) and Lego City.
[editline]27th March 2013[/editline]
It took a year for the PS3 and Xbox to have good titles. Why people are putting off the Wii U after a few months is stupid.
Why is the PS3 lame tier?
I'm tired as fuck, though there's some really good shit on it:
Little Big Planet
Gran Turismo 5
Heavy Rain
Uncharted
Journey
God of War (Haven't played it personally)
HD Remake of Shadow of the Colossus (Wasn't a fan, though people like it for some reason)
The controllers are bluetooth and can be used with a PC/smartphone
Basic online features are free and the subscription service gives you free games
There are no ads in the menus
It has a Blu-ray player
Uses standard bluetooth headsets
It wasn't as good as the 360 launch, though at this point it's a pretty damn nice little box if you can pick one up used cheaply.
Hell I bought it for full price at launch and I never regretted it :v:

This. This. This. This. This. This. This. Oh my god this. Best controller I've had for my PC.
I could never get use to the Playstation controllers.
Playing LBP with me is a nightmare.

o ye
Spent most of tonight getting skyrim back in action. I finally got a recent save working. I loaded it up with the new mods, did a 7 day cycle, resaved, so it should be good.

Do you ever stream?
Do you ever stream?
Nope. I don't have a following enough to be flexible enough to say, "hey guys I'm streaming." and suddenly have people in there, and I'm not in a position to stream to 5-10 people who barely talk for a few hours when I can be working.
I always bring this up but I have many things I'd like to do regularly but only when I have a sustainable subscriber pool that can support my own personal wishes rather than succuming to the wishes of search traffic.
AKA more fun LP's
Streams
Subscriber requests
Obscure games
stuff like that. I try very hard to balance my time to get the most out of it. People tell me that I should just make more arsty videos like skyfilm. The problem is it takes me like 30 hours alone just to set it up. it's not a simple matter of finding angles, recording and uploading.
Sorry, I had that on my mind anyways and when you asked I talked to much.

I'm actually trying to lose my job so I can do school and Youtube full time again. I'm excited for it and I'm dreaming of being fired.
I'm excited for it and I'm dreaming of being fired.
I totally understand it, but it's still one of the most... foreign things I've read in this thread.
I've wanted to do this since before I got a job. I've lost uncountable opportunities to capitalize on my equipment and talent for time sensetive projects. I could have had a SimCity review out maybe within 2 days of release as a non-journalist, but it's been like 3.5 weeks since release and I am still working on it, and I'm getting more and more behind on other major games I could be producing for.
All because of my job. Yes it pays for my school, but I'm only in school to be able to go to this job.
I installed Simcity 4 because... I don't know why and god is it fucking suddenly stressful
"City's looking pretty good! ...ok I'm bored, cheetah speed... oh I need to make more residential zones and make these roads better, okay... oh a bigger school? build an airport? water pipes? police stations? crime? fire everywhere in the industrial district, shit shit shit shit what's that I DIDN'T KEEP AN EYE ON THE BUDGET WHY ARE ALL THE NUMBERS RED"
being a major sucks when time goes by really fast and all your advisors get mad at you

The Duke was massive, but didn't even feel good. Too soft, and hard to reach (in part due to the size). The S Model was smaller and felt better until you had to actually push. I still think they are physically impossible.

Woah, woah, woah. You hated the duke? How can you hate the duke? The duke was fucking awesome.
That one counts too.
With all respect Brt, you saying you want to loose your job comes off as pretty selfish, I mean there are people like Amiga and I who are trying our hardest to find a job remotely related do with computers (hell it's almost impossible to find shelf stacking work here in the UK).
I know sometimes you have to follow your heart not your head, but when the economy is so shit you should be thankful for having any kind of job.

As an Australian, I can confirm this.
I don't understand glossy on a fucking laptop. WHY?
I don't understand glossy on a fucking laptop. WHY?
Better panel. To be fair, most matte panels I've ever used on a laptop are just as bad as glossy panels in the sun. The only difference being glossy panels you can see what's behind you, matte panels you just see a vague blob.

Yeah but a lot of spare LCDs are glossy with LED or matte with CCFL.
Finding it hard to find spares for a broken ThinkPad X200 I'm willing to get, so far it's £110 for an X200 if I repair it myself.

I'm actually trying to lose my job so I can do school and Youtube full time again. I'm excited for it and I'm dreaming of being fired.
One day at work, brt hacks into his workplace's employee database and makes it look like he has worked 30 hours every day. He hopes to get fired, but it would also be pretty sweet to get loadsamone. He goes home for the day and watches porn until he falls asleep. The next day, he comes into work 1 hour late, but no one seems to care. The hack he did has not been reversed. As he is checking facepunch and not doing what he is supposed to, his boss calls him and tells him to meet him in his office. During his way to the office, Brt's shit eating grin is hard to miss. He comes his boss' office while maintaining the grin, even though the boss looks his very serious. "Would you still smile if I told you you were fired?" the boss said. Brt, acting like a little schoolgirl, replied "Pfpft...yes" and was fired on the spot for being lazy and never doing his work. Brt's shit eating grin was even more shit eating than ever before, right up to the point where he found out that no one, except losers, really liked him on youtube.
But then, he discovered that he was still receiving loadsamone from the job. And that's how brt got rich.
tl;dr: I'm a terrible writer
