Here's the whole article: http://www.techempower.com/blog/2013/03/28/framework-benchmarks/
Actually just found it (lolreddit). Actually pretty good. I like how Node's mysql gets the lowest, despite being one of the highest IO frameworks there :v:. They also should have tested Rack-rbx. Mostly because I'm genuinely curious on how it performs, I have no idea. (I mean, RBX is fast, but is it fast with Rack?) [editline]29th March 2013[/editline] Also a bit of a weird comparison, since a lot of those frameworks aren't intended to do the same things. Node is made pretty much for high I/O situations. Rails is made for large web applications (Be it enterprise level, or something like RapGenius). It's kinda missing the idea of "Right tool for the right job". The tasks are also a bad representation of why a developer would chose a particular framework, and yeah, some comparisons are insanely obvious (Express slower than Node, hurr.). I'm sure if all devs compared about performance and only performance we'd be using compiled, heavily optimized C with a CGI library, with everything made from scratch. This also seems to ignore other performance aspects. Such as math calculations. Large amounts of comparisons, password hashing, etc.
So... What about our Sipwicket forum?

I'm sick of my fucking sister touching my laptop and filling my Youtube history with anime shit just because i'm not at home. Is it possible to redirect every URL to a certain page?
Put a password on your laptop?
Put a password on your laptop?
It's a bit boring, i wanted some surprise factor. Also, the souls of the laptop she owned scream for revenge.
I think my hard drive is dying. My laptop has been really sluggish lately when doing anything related to files. :( and new ones start at $50. I have terrible luck with hard drives. The hard drive that came with this laptop died as well, and isn't under Warren anymore, so I can't replace it.

Just found a weird bug in Windows Media Player. I have my main User folder on my hard drive, with a symlink from the SSD, so anything expecting C:\Users\GMan to work will work, even though the actual data is on D:\Users\GMan Well, WMP somehow ended up with *two* copies of all my music. I eventually figured out it was because it had one copy from C:\Users\GMan\Music and another from D:\Users\GMan\Music I managed to get it all sorted out, but I suspect it will eventually do the exact same thing again, since I'm not sure how it added D: in the first place.

if you replace all ones on a hard drive with zeroes, and all zeroes with ones, what would happen?
Well this fucking sucks. After a month of using my neighbors shitty internet, we finally decide we can afford to get CenturyLink. So we order it last week, and they say its supposed to get setup today. So this morning I leave for school, see a CenturyLink guy messing around in the telcom box on my street, and figure they set it up. 30 minutes later, I get an email saying that everything was setup fine and the service will activated from their HQ at 5:00pm. School ends, I get home at 5:30pm, plug in my spare modem, and see that it can't connect to the internet. So I call them up and ask them whats going on, and well, it turns out that my account got canceled, they forward me to their main office, lady says that there should be absolutism no reason for my account to be terminated, then says that she will 'extradite' it and call me back in an hour and a half. Its been 4 hours and i'm still waiting for that call.
Really now I am glad that I have Charter for my internet provider. Even though I am in the U.S. this is great service.
