I've noticed that FP was a tad slower than normal lately, anyone else noticed slow page loading times?
We're being DDOS'd last I heard.
Must be a pretty shitty ddos, I haven't noticed :v:
So I dug out an old kid's I.T gem that I seemed to have owned but according to mom it belonged to my brother who is now 21. [t]https://dl.dropbox.com/u/67129569/Lumix/IMG_20130323_144207.jpg[/t] 32KB of storage... Apparently it could be able to live-feed a real digital camera. But this system is from 1998. Before everything in computing for children went to shit. Mom has more of these that she dug out for me, as well as one kids toy that I vaguely remember typing on when I was 6.

It just couldn't do spreadsheets. My brother's second laptop could do everything, except the World Wide Web and photos. Netbooks have made these systems die out. But being alive this long is remarkable.
Must be a pretty shitty ddos, I haven't noticed :v:
FP was down for a few hours last night (GMT) :v: I think that they gave up now though.
two hours?! are Sony's download servers really that bad
Depends on where you live. In Finland there is so little traffic, for example, that you'll never really encounter issues with downloading anything.
Bought a canon 650d. Now to never use it again.
Bought a canon 650d. Now to never use it again.
My 600D was one of the best purchases I've ever done, I wish I had a reason to use it more often. When I do get to use it though, it's a joy. [editline]23rd March 2013[/editline] And no I didn't find money to buy it in the trash
Bought a canon 650d. Now to never use it again.
Hey, I just ordered one!
I bought a 5D Mark III right before I went back to university and now I have no time to play around with it
Isn't that like, the most expensive Canon body for non-professional photographers?
I hate to say it but I don't understand why the 650D (or other cameras like it) are so much. Can anyone fill me in?
My 600D was one of the best purchases I've ever done, I wish I had a reason to use it more often. When I do get to use it though, it's a joy.
I feel your pain. Have a shiny new 600D, but nothing to take pictures of.
Isn't that like, the most expensive Canon body for non-professional photographers?
lol professional photographers uses 5D cameras all the time
don't you people know that you need the most expensive camera to be a good photographer
Well, according to Canon's classification system, it's still not a "Professional" camera.
don't you people know that you need the most expensive camera to be a good photographer
As long as you use a super long telephoto lens with hood and a verticle grip with it, everyone will know you're the best around
I wonder if I should buy a tamron or canon zoom lens.or save the money.
Tamron lens sucks [editline]23rd March 2013[/editline] and makes you look super unpr0fessional
My phone has a camera.
That doesn't necessarily mean it's not a popular choice by professionals though [editline]23rd March 2013[/editline] aaaaa automerge
you need a fisheye lens [editline]23rd March 2013[/editline] it's pro
you need a fisheye lens [editline]23rd March 2013[/editline] it's pro
When you're recording skateboarding videos, the wider your fisheye, the more pro you are Only unkool kids fix lens distortion
My phone has a camera.
My camera has a camera [editline]23rd March 2013[/editline] But seriously, it's pretty insane how many things have cameras now a days. TVs, game consoles, computers...
This hard drive writes faster than its reading speed What is this sorcery
Internal buffer? It can write to the buffer before writing to disk, but it can't read from the disk until it's in the buffer. [editline]23rd March 2013[/editline]
I wonder if I should buy a tamron or canon zoom lens.or save the money.
The only thing Canon has going for it for first party is a red ring on the lens. If you care about looking like a professional go Canon. if you're more concerned about bang for buck and working on actually taking good photos it doesn't matter. If you're hired for weddings and events, you actually do need to pay for that red ring on L lenses.
[t]http://i.imgur.com/3N544Eg.png[/t] Here's what I'm working on, the best advice is just keep it tidy I guess.
Looks kinda like the outlook webpage. Especially with the logo and all.
