"Rage XL was a low-cost RAGE Pro-based solution. As a low-power solution with capable 2D-acceleration, the chip was used on many low-end graphics cards. It was also seen on Intel motherboards, as recently as 2004, and was still used in 2006 for server motherboards."

Apparently that card ain't so hot.
I have a ATI 3D Rage II 8 MB VRAM AGP2X laying around somewhere. It was a very good card, it could run Quake 3 maxed out, amazing card.
only card I had out of the rage line was the 128 Pro, but I had like four total so yeah
I remember when buying my first card that had a heatsink & fan. I was like "holy fuck this NEEDS a fan to run, WOW"
And then the Nvidia 5700 happened.
I used to have one of these, but I have no idea what happened to it/where I placed it.

Collectors these days would offer ridiculously high prices for that card.
In 10 years we'll all be laughing about how our cards sucked. It's amazing how fast PC hardware becomes outdated.

But I can still imagine myself laughing ten years from now, on how I paid $35 for a $600 GPU back in 2010.
The rage got its ass kicked by a certain nVidia part.
I remember the 6200 could unlocked to become a 6600. It was the expose of the century. or so they thought.
Oh cool I have a bunch of old cards like this in my garage, dunno what year they're from though.
And there was this weird sound card from China that I'm scared to try in my PC in case it makes it communist or something. :psyduck:
With passive cooling, you just know it's gonna be awesome.
