Why did you not include any specs?
bought EA2700 router today (Linksys). First thing it did when i went to 192.168.1.1 was "HEY ITS UNSECURE UNLESS YOU USE CISCO CONNECT", "HEY YOU NEED CISCO CONNECT TO DO ALL OF THESE FANCY FEATURES". Anyway then hitting i know dipshit 3 more times it brings me to the regular linksys administrative page with a few more options then usual.
So i was going to update the firmware till i found out the newest firmware is cisco connect only. Yeah fuck that. Cool thing is my job lowered 32gB corsair vegence set to 179. Time to buy

What the hell
I could have sworn that it was blank after "included games"
i'm sorry
Coming from my previous experience with Cisco/Linksys (WRT54G) and WRT120N i'd thought i'd have a good experience with this. Apparently this cloud shit is either you use it or basically use the decade old admin panel.

If you live in a city you can probably buy a stand and have it modified at a workshop or something
i really wish M$ would release info about Surface because goddamn do I want one.
Not sure if I want the Touch Cover or the Type Cover... I like my real keyboards

I'm supposed to be capped at 5 megabits per second but I somehow pulled off almost 14 megabytes
112 megabits, if that was my normal speed I'd be the happiest man alive
That's a lot of megabeeps
I have this weird thing on my connection that gives me a really high speed (3-5x what i'm supposed to get) for a few seconds whenever starting a download
very helpful for downloading small things like MP3s and stuff

it had been running for a good 40 minutes when I took that screenshot

I have the opposite of that.
I download something for 2 minutes, the connection is ok (1mb/s), then it starts to get up to around 3mb/s after that.

I wish I wasn't joking.
My first 3TB drive dropped out of RAID twice today, but only when I'm playing a game. I don't know if it's related or I need to RMA it.

Nope. Took that screenshot back when I worked at Merit Network, a non-profit ISP for the education, government and health sectors, we had a 1 gbit/s line right in the office. Same place I got this at:

I set uTorrent's RAM cache to 1.5 GB and set the connection limit to somewhere in thousands range, and used TCPoptimizer to make some edits to the windows TCP/IP stack settings. Shame I don't have access to that anymore.
The censor bar was because I didn't really want to reveal that all that at first (and the fact that I was trying out a new Opera release at the time), here's the unedited screenshot

The measurement tool seems to calculate compressed files in their expanded state for some reason. I can download 300MB worth of updates, and it will take exactly how long it takes on my connection maxed out, but will claim to be anywhere from 100% to 150% of my connection the entire time.
I know it's not accurate because I can just look at bandwidth totals in my router.

644 KB/s is roughly what I get downloading from any other server and that's the range I typically fall in on Steam. even if it's 150% of my connection, 13.8 MB/s is 2240% of my connection
the largest spike I had ever seen on my network was 5 MB/s
Okay this is bullshit: http://www.gsmarena.com/sony_c660x_yuga_1080p_display_leaks_in_a_benchmark_score_-news-4944.php
Now a smartphone has a resolution higher than that of my 21.5" display. Bullshit, I tell you.
Just cancelled my RasPi order :v:
Well, I just did the stupidest thing ever. I was tarring up a directory to move to the directory above, so I tarred everything, moved the .tar to the directory above and rm -rf *'d it.
Little did I know I just rm -rf *'d the /usr/share directory.
So after 4 minutes of panicking, I realized I had it all in a tar.
Yeahhh...
I'll just rate you funny and pretend i understood :I
