I remember that one. I think USBoob from Pringles was the most clever entry of all time.

I don't remember entering it.
You got a picture of the USBoob?
I don't have a picture but I have a USB flash drive embedded in a sponge.

I know someone entered one with the same concept.
It's on my Photobucket I think, but OpenDNS blocks it here at work. Search "Bladeboy311" on PB and go to my albums, there should be one titled USB Competition or something.
Yes it's a stupid name I was like 10.

SgtPringles.jpg? That's the one!
I made a flashdrive out of a plastic wii remote I found in a kids meal around 4 years ago.
Sadly, I lost it.
My Bluray drive is making an unpleasant sound... Sounds like it's humping something.
Just installed some more ram and a new ssd in my laptop, put it all back together and now the track pad doesn't work.
oops
not like I use it anyway

You should have just downloaded more RAM and saved yourself the trouble.
AMD to make ssds

You can do it AMD!
If anyone has an extra key for metro or saints row after buying that, I would be forever grateful.

Also, I encountered a true computer illiterate for the first time. He spent 1500 dollars on a bunch of parts for his "uber-gaming rig" that can run "skyrim and any other game at more than 100fps" Being somewhat intrigued I asked him his specs. He started off "well a GTX 680ti" okay, kind of impressed he got a card that doesn't exist. Then he continues "and some piledriver cpu, and an asus motherboard" I reply "wait, you actually bought amd for a gaming rig?" "yeah, I was gonna buy intel then I saw they had just released piledriver so I bought an 8350. 4GHz and 8 cores is crazy fast"
I think you all can guess where this is going. I tried to convince him cores and clock speed are most definitely not everything, to no avail. I've never been so upset over someone being wrong before. It really pisses you off.
oh, and he bought 16 gigabytes of ram, but he got 4 dimms, and he says he can just add more to make it 32 gigabytes in the future.

How many cores does the controller have?
Pepper;38642584']How many cores does the controller have?
better be more than intel's or it's not better
better be more than intel's or it's not better
And they must run at 20GHZ too!

I knew someone like that, just showed him the alienware website to get him to shut up by drooling at it.

new 20GHz Wreckingball 16-core SSD controller reaches lightning speeds of 6.1Gbps (a whopping 100mbps over the competition!!!)
new avatar because christmas
32 cores 16GB onboard RAM, 1KW TDP with the groundbreaking speeds of 700MBPS
And requires it's own ATX case
You're fucking weird with that shit, altern. Just pick one, okay? Thanks babe.
I wish i could change my avatar around.
I don't want to lose my 80 x 80 one though
I hadn't even realized it went down to 64x64 when I changed mine, so I didn't really give a fuck.
I think Steam is purposely trying to get me to bash my head through my desk
I have to mess with steam.cfg to stop it from overwriting changed files so I can modify core source engine files, this also means that Steam doesnt update things proplerly
After it decided to verify Garry's Mods cache files twice, it decided to update it, which breaks everything ,gg
then I restart it into the normal mode
"oh hold on, let me verify all source engine games you have installed for you"
no way to skip this
fuck it
[editline]29th November 2012[/editline]
pretty much every time I try to launch GMod actually it decides to verify a bunch of random cache files which takes like 5 minutes, this is really starting to piss me off
Reinstalling Windows on my laptop.
stuck at 10%
why is my laptop breaking
Steam is being fucking useless. I clicked the window and it's having a siezure.
Could it be everyone bombarding their servers with the THQ bundle?
My reinstall went fine today, I guess computers really dislike you.
My desktop has been fine since I moved it all into the HAF X, my other desktop is rarely used since it's in my brother's room (not for long though), earlier this year my MacBook died, and now my Asus laptop just started giving me shit.

I find this slightly awkward
Installing from a USB drive is so much faster, I think I will always do it this way. Just installed W7 on a netbook.
