So Cox sent me an email about my data usage.. Even though it's gone up to 700 Gbs in July they just sent an email when it hit 508 in November.. And I believe I purchased Roku in June, so far no overage charges yet though.. :suicide:
how [editline]1st December 2012[/editline] 700 GB in one month how I thought using 200GB was a lot
When you've got 5 people in the house almost always streaming a show/movie or gaming(which I don't think uses much bandwidth) :v: I pray Google fiber arrives soon, if not i'm moving to Kansas.

I will literally suck the dick of every employee of Google in order to get Google Fiber to my house.
Spilled mountain dew on my GTX 570, still works. :v:. Scariest 4 minutes 2012.
Would you not download faster than you can write the data?
Would you not download faster than you can write the data?
1 gbps is only 128 MB/s, faster than most hard drives but nothing compared to most SSDs
Spilled mountain dew on my GTX 570, still works. :v:. Scariest 4 minutes 2012.
How did you manage to do that?
http://www.mlive.com/business/west-michigan/index.ssf/2011/03/grand_rapids_passed_over_for_g.html Boooo.
so this means GR is next in line right
Fuck, I put my new motherboard in and had to reinstall windows, and I must have done something wrong apparently because no matter what I did for hours it wouldn't let me access any of my old files. I formatted because I was tired of trying and now I have to download 300gb of games, music, movies, and programs all over again on my terrible connection. I've been getting 40 kB/s all day. [editline]1st December 2012[/editline] Page king, now everyone will know my shame!
You can still probably get alot of it back with recuva. It's saved my bacon plenty of times.
How did you manage to do that?
Mtn Dew® liquid cooled™ GTX 570
Pepper;38667678']You can still probably get alot of it back with recuva. It's saved my bacon plenty of times.
I don't really care anymore, I'm just getting a shit ton of new music and only installing a few select games that I actually play. Fresh start I guess.
I need an excuse to build another rig, Mini ITX. Overclockers are selling off the Bitfenix prodigy in orange. I like orange, My studio room is orange. I wish I could transplant my current main PC into it, however I need a firewire port (Which all the 1155 ITX boards seem to lack) and two PCI-E Slots (Quad monitor) to do what I need my workstation to do... A server maybe? I need a project, I'll maybe watercool it or something. I may just have to buy the case and hold onto it until I have a use for it, I just love the design.
so this means GR is next in line right
Yeah I wish. I live a bit south of the city limit, but you bet your ass I'd move. Also because of reasons related to the new city ordinances that passed.
Steam just died.
Yeah I wish. I live a bit south of the city limit, but you bet your ass I'd move. Also because of reasons related to the new city ordinances that passed.
i already live next to ann arbor so i can already take advantage of that second bit
What do you guys bind your third main button to with the G600? I know there are a few sipwickets who have one, and I'm thinking about asking for one for christmas
G500: - Move forward - Use key - Reload
How did you manage to do that?
My case is next to my desk on the floor, and i shoved my dew off the desk. My Case has a fan on top of it and some of the dew leaked into that and was a straight shot to the back of my gfx card. I panicked like fuck and disconnected everything and got the blow drier and dried away.
how [editline]1st December 2012[/editline] 700 GB in one month how I thought using 200GB was a lot
I did 1200 GB in one month once
In Windows 8 you can record your network usage of whatever WiFi network you're on. I've used 248.15gb since 48 days ago. Y'all are crazy
1 gbps is only 128 MB/s, faster than most hard drives but nothing compared to most SSDs
Most big drives can easily write that. Big like 2-3TB drives hit 150 or more.
Most big drives can easily write that. Big like 2-3TB drives hit 150 or more.
Except, of course, if you're using a Windows filesystem. How the hell do we still not have one for Windows that doesn't fragment like a motherfucker
Except, of course, if you're using a Windows filesystem. How the hell do we still not have one for Windows that doesn't fragment like a motherfucker
Yea, I wish Windows had some sort of ext filesystem or something. would be lovely to put it on the work machines at my job. Our company runs so many god damn scripts they get to like 10% fragmentation within a day.
Pepper;38664587']Coil whine. You're fine
Any easy way to fix? It's kind of annoying.
Any easy way to fix? It's kind of annoying.
whine is unavoidable and 99% of electronics do it to some extent [editline]1st December 2012[/editline] you should be able to just cover the offending coil in glue and fix it but it'll just degrade again and you'll have to go and do it again later
Generally coil whine goes away over time. Maybe a week or two of heavy use. Every new part I have has coil whine. Edit: Read context. ur fuckd
Any easy way to fix? It's kind of annoying.
I was about to post that video of the guy smashing his motherboard with a hammer, then I decided to make it into a .gif, then I said "meh fuck it".
[t]http://sphotos-b.xx.fbcdn.net/hphotos-ash4/465527_214089008725280_1478158647_o.jpg[/t] I'm in love with this color scheme. And the cpu block is so nice to me for some reason
