Apparently my response time because better if I use my peripherals, rather than staring at the square. Not sure if that is supposed to happen.
Yes, that's a basic mechanism built into your brain through evolution. Foveal (central) vision is better for discerning details; peripheral is better for detecting and reacting to motion.
According to Wikipedia
Mean RT for college-age individuals is about 160 milliseconds to detect an auditory stimulus, and approximately 190 milliseconds to detect visual stimulus.
The practice exam for my IT Essentials class was really easy, though that question made me laugh.
The Javascript one is causing my peripherals to act weird, because the button you click is green, so I keep prematurely clicking.
I averaged 246 MS Could be worse. And you need a 10 meg pipe embedded onto the logic transistors!
There was test my old college in California offered for reaction times. I scored in the top 5% when I did it. Never got an actual number though.
What was the average before that one?
like 250 or something :v:
Assuming you have a 60hz monitor, that's 16.66ms just between each screen refresh...
woa
You almost reacted quicker than your screen :v:

You damn kids and your fancy chips. I only needed 4 megahertz to play Sonic on my Game Gear! What the hell are you gonna do, play 10 Sonics at the same time!?
I play 875 Sonics at the same time. [editline]5th December 2012[/editline] below 800 Sonics means you are a scrub
44.1 megahertz!??. You damn kids and your fancy chips. I only needed 4 megahertz to play Sonic on my Game Gear! What the hell are you gonna do, play 10 Sonics at the same time!?
gotta go fast, you know
gotta go fast, you know
uh that's gigabytes dude
Have fun with your 10 minute battery life!
Actually, I have the huge battery packs, so it lasts 20 minutes!
Have fun with your 10 minute battery life!
I got about 10 hours from my Game Gear, no really.
90% of my Game Gear usage was actually at home, plugged in. My parents had a bunch of strange reasons for not wanting to get a proper console.

My reaction time average is 209, feels nice to be average, lol.
I would use firefox is they had a unified search and url bar. That's why I used Safari 6.0 for so long.
The URL bar already does google searches if you input anything that doesn't look like a URL
My Chrome sometimes googles things when I type www.websitename.com
my reaction time is only 267. shit
My Chrome sometimes googles things when I type www.websitename.com
Hmm, that's weird. But if you put a slash at the end of it, it'll always treat it as a URL. (Usually you only need to do that to load bare hostnames, like "localhost") [editline]5th December 2012[/editline]
The URL bar already does google searches if you input anything that doesn't look like a URL
But does it auto-load suggestions in that bar?
The URL bar already does google searches if you input anything that doesn't look like a URL
Or an IP address. (Hint: Every non-negative integer < 2^32 is treated as an IP address. Possibly even ones above that, but you might have to enclose them in square brackets.)
Awesome, got Spotify working on this old piece of shit [editline]5th December 2012[/editline] I might max out the ram, or at least get it to 1GB. That would make it possible to browse on as well, hmhm.
Awesome, got Spotify working on this old piece of shit
Old? That's Mac OS X. Let me know when you're running a Mac that isn't Darwin based.
I have the original iMac as well if that counts...And by original I mean the first model that was made.
I have the original iMac as well if that counts...And by original I mean the first model that was made.
Now those were awesome. Bondi Blue for lyfe. You'd better have KidPix and HyperCard on that.
I don't, I actually haven't played a lot on it. There's OS 9.2 on it from the previous owner and there's some old stuff on it as well. Should I get it back from the basement and re-install the OS and stuff? I might. [editline]5th December 2012[/editline] I found it out in the snow last winter actually, there was snow on top of it and ice inside it. I just let it rest for a couple of days before turning it on, which I did on video
