Well shit, my HD is full. And I just bought SR3 to boot.
*HDD
*HDD
He could've been talking about his TV. "My TV's HD is full. Full HD."
Why are you playing Halo with a trackpad?
I use to play a lot of games with a trackpad.
Are Hard Drive prices down yet? Newegg won't load for some reason so I can't check.
I am finally through a 12 hour schoolday that included huffing copious amounts of spraypaint fumes, being surrounded by LE DUMB MEME SO FUNY posters and a tech support case from hell. One of the classes somehow got 3 plasma TVs for their display and wanted to drive all of them from the same netbook. ohboy They had two HDMI splitters, so I thought i'd just connect one of them to to another and output to all 3 of them in display clone mode. Windows threw a fit as soon as I connected the second TV. Let's try that again, now with all splitters connected up and the netbook connected last. Windows decided that the 3 TVs are going to somehow display the whole thing in segments, so the TVs had 1/3rd of the desktop on them. Many tries followed. Finally, we made it work by connecting up one HDMI splitter to two TVs, one to a TV, plug the one-TV one into the netbook, click apply, quickly insert the other HDMI splitter in the first one while the screens were blank on both TV and netbook, then it just worked. I had no fucking idea what the heck was going on or if the TVs were signalling the coming of the Elder Gods, but I spent one hour trying to troubleshoot that issue.
Are Hard Drive prices down yet? Newegg won't load for some reason so I can't check.
Seeing as at the height of the prices a 1TB drive would cost upwards of $130, yeah I'd say the current $75-$80 is fair.
Depending on where you order from, it might take up to a month for everything to be delivered to you. I'd say two months is better. At least you won't be getting the new generation of hardware released a day before your now previous-gen processor arrives.
If i order tomorrow, i could probably pick it up before next weekend, So delivery time isn't nearly that bad
Both of the USB to VGA adapters I bought are defective. I submitted an RMA and new ones will be here on Tuesday after the UPS guy picks the package up from my house on Monday. betterthanexpected.jpg
Ivy Bridge, yes. Don't bother waiting for Haswell - that's still months away. Rule of thumb - don't bother waiting over a month for new hardware to come out.
For something as promising as Haswell? No way, wait for it. Performance is promising as hell, not to mention an epic cache. Also, Ivy is the last to use the 1155 socket. Would probably be a good idea to wait for the new socket so you have some kind of upgradability.
It begins. Just using some hard-coded test values right now, and I'm not returning XML yet since lazy etc. But I'm starting to figure this shit out. I like XML, now that I figured out how SimpleXML works.
Oh fuck you Google. They killed off the free Google Apps for Domains. Anyone who currently has it is fine, though the only option now for new users is the Business, which is $50/user/year. It's completely overkill for someone like me where I only have one address associated with the account. \ I already have an account, though it still sucks for everyone who was on the fence.
the idiot thing is this "Individuals wishing to use Google’s web apps like Gmail and Google Drive should create a free personal Google Account, which provides a seamless experience across all of our web services on any device." well no, i want my domain name would be nice if they just had a "treat me as a @gmail user for purposes of feature rollout" if you only have a single user on the account
Oh man this is amazing http://kcbx.net/~tellswor/bettoast.htm
http://api.nikomo.fi/ :c
-insert API documentation- I figured a placeholder would be nice.
-insert API documentation- I figured a placeholder would be nice.
It's a nice placeholder.
Your placeholder is a jerk!
It's friendly and accurate.
it's [SUB]~~~~~~[/SUB]html5[SUP]~~~~~~[/SUP] [editline]8th December 2012[/editline] Now I need to figure out how print out the results as XML, shouldn't be hard.
Can you do the same trick with a Windows 8 upgrade that you could with a Windows 7 one? Install it ontop of itself?
<?php header ("Content-Type:text/xml"); ?>
fuck fuck fuck FUCK FUCK! I just closed chrome by accident and lost all of my ~70 tabs. FUCK I need to bookmark stuff.
Pepper;38755055']fuck fuck fuck FUCK FUCK! I just closed chrome by accident and lost all of my ~70 tabs.

<?php header ("Content-Type:text/xml"); ?>

Yeah, I'll put that in after I'm outputting XML, cheers for the reminder.
Yeah, I'll put that in after I'm outputting XML, cheers for the reminder.
Has to be before.
Has to be before.
Pretty sure you can't call header() anywhere other than top of the page. But what he means is that he'll add that once he outputs actual XML
Does simpleXML not have anything in to help out with XML generation? I've only ever used the parsing side of it to read XML.
Yeah, it does, but I've never used it so this is going to take a while.
http://api.nikomo.fi/ :c
#tw:suicide #tw:threats #tw:ableism #tw:swearing
#tw:suicide #tw:threats #tw:ableism #tw:swearing
I have no idea what the hell this means.
Just watching the latest Pach Attack, Pachter seems to think 4K resolution is related to the total number of pixels and not just cause its close to 4000 pixels horizonatally.
