Still better then the Thompson gateway interface i got. *shudder*
But does it actually work? Dlink's shit breaks constantly.
But does it actually work? Dlink's shit breaks constantly.
The gateway itself works just fine, no complaints there. It's just that the UI is horrible as shit. Finding specific settings takes ages

It beats the BT homehub firmware. You can't even forward ports.
Pepper;38854703']It beats the BT homehub firmware. You can't even forward ports.
Port forwarding is somewhat tricky on mine. Supposedly the newest firmware fixes all the problems, but it doesn't work with my hardware revision.

I just found out that my GPU (Palit GTX 670 Jetstream), which I bought last summer at a price of 370€ (normally about 450€), is on sale again at the same price. It's a nice deal for such a powerful card, I almost want to buy another one so I can have them in SLI, but my screen is only 1080p so it would be waste of money. Two of those would run games at 1440p pretty well, though.
Er..why is it a waste at 1080p?
Overkill would be a better word to use.
The distinct lack of DD-WRT or Tomato makes me sad
Atleast it's built on Tomato.
Port forwarding is somewhat tricky on mine. Specs wise, it's not bad, 64MB RAM, 333MHZ dual core ARM cpu. I've no idea on how big the flash chip is though. Shame the completely WANK firmware ruins it. Here's the thread where they're porting it. http://www.psidoc.com/showthread.php/743-OpenWRT-on-V3A/page3
Overkill would be a better word to use.
Pssh. No such thing as overkill.
Overkill would be a better word to use.
Unless I had a 120Hz monitor. I'd choose a monitor with a higher resolution over that any time.
good shit right here [t]http://puu.sh/1BGty[/t]
Also have a Netgear wnr2000, and it looks like a sort of XP era purple mess. It works well though. [editline]16th December 2012[/editline]
I never knew XDA made router firmware
XDA would have made it red and silver. When i do get openWRT on that homehub, i'm putting proper antennas on the thing, all it has are traces on the PCB.
