finally we get to learn what the hell you've been actually doing?
I'll tell you as soon as I'm sure the customers won't be suing us. And after I double-check the NDA - I'm pretty sure I can tell you now, but I want to make sure.
Keep in mind there isn't as much of a need for AA at such a resolution I'm sure the small sacrifice of a little texture detail or whatever is worth it
You're confusing resolution with pixel density. A Nexus 10 doesn't need AA, but a 30 inch monitor isn't packing many pixels into the esame space. You're looking at 100dpi ish. Not high enough to avoid AA. [editline]18th December 2012[/editline]
What does this mean, and why can't a normal person such as myself notice it?
Because it's probably not what you're looking for. Once a video is produced right, it looks like a blur filter is taken off your eyes.

Point that AA is less needed in most cases still stands. It's still nicer with in most cases (especially at 30") It's not like every PC monitor at such a resolution is mandatory 30", the rMBP @ 15" will suffer substantially less than an equivalent monitor at 30".
It's better, but the pixel density is the only thing affecting the need for AA. The pixels aren't that much smaller. It's twice the res, but almost twice the screen size.
It's not like I said AA isn't needed at all either. I'm sure you can bare not having 64x**AA @ 2560x1600;30"
Twitter Bootstrap is giving me a serious boner, it does everything for me. Hell, if you resize your browser window below a certain size, it switches over to the mobile view (which is still completely usable).
Any application will always much better with AA than without it, even at high pixel densities. Look at some supersampled Crysis screenshots. I can see jaggies in OpenGL apps on my Nexus 4 which is 320ppi.

There we go. Nerves calmed, and data for all post-X25 Intel SSDs entered.
Can I take 2 64gb ssd's, raid 0 them, and use that volume as an Intel smart response cache?

Maybe that's why :v: brb doing sudoku
So, I'm sending my GTX 560 back to MSI because of heat / fan issues. I'm on integrated graphics, though luckily my tiny motherboard has two connections so I was able to hook up both monitors. This is annoying, though I hope I get an upgraded card out of it. That would be a nice Christmas gift! Maybe I'm just boring or the Intel graphics are getting good enough, though I'm not going to die being without the card for 2 weeks or however long it takes to get it RMAed. I might get around to playing Red Dead Redemption and Little Big Planet 2 on my PS3. I can play FTL, Simcity 4 and Audiosurf just fine on my desktop too.

Guys, give me feedback on the design of this.
VLC's gone all Christmas on me. Traitor.
it hasn't done that to me course i'm still on 2.0.4 so what do I know
I'm using VLC 2.0.3 and it's all Christmassy for me.
I feel so stupid for even basing a decision off this but I really am torn between http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814102968 and http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814127664 for my second 7770. The MSI is cheaper, dual fan, and has a $25 MIR, while the Sapphire is factory OC'd (not a huge deal) and most importantly MATCHES MY CURRENT ONE. It really doesn't help that I have a side panel window :( I don't know what to do! Current card http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814102967. I'm so scared that the MSI will bother me too much being next to a Sapphire. #firstworldproblems
I just did something Google can't. I centered content. Do ho ho.
What's the minimum acceptable NIC for using a PC as a home router? What I mean is in terms of age, features, interface, chipset etc. Gigabit LAN isn't necessary.
What's the minimum acceptable NIC for using a PC as a home router?
is the killer NIC still the most expensive one on the market? if so I'm going to go ahead and suggest you get that
is the killer NIC still the most expensive one on the market? if so I'm going to go ahead and suggest you get that
If you want expensive, go for server ones. You're doing expensive wrong.
If you want expensive, go for server ones. You're doing expensive wrong.
the joke is that I chose the most needlessly expensive consumer-grade card I could think of
