Pepper;38076140'] eBay also has free listings every fortnight.
Buy it Now listing fee is only ten cents anyways if you don't add any additional features. You don't necessarily have to wait for a "free listing" day. You still have to pay the final value fees on those days.
Pepper;38076140']An 80GB IDE drive would be around £8 on ebay used. If you put that in a late p4 box with 1GB RAM, XP pro and a decent case, you could get £50 - £60. eBay also has free listings every fortnight. [editline]17th October 2012[/editline] Another good way of getting PCs is asking IT shops if they have any stuff they want to throw out, say that you need it for a school/uni project.
I didn't know about thosee free listings. Do they include shipping (i'm sure that isn't free) or is it pickup only? I don't have any DDR2 ram, sorry.

YOU are the one who is listing the items, it's up to you to decide if you want to charge shipping on the items or not.
I don't post here often, but I found out that Barcode Price-Checkers in our supermarket use Windows Embedded and I can quit the Kiosk aplication and do whatever I want... Suggestions? (I want to download RAT onto it)

45WTW6VCXY 10% off anything on origin. Knock yourself out.

Just checked temps, GPU temp 72C, okay, fan must be stuck again. I pushed it a little and it felt like I started a fucking jet. Custom fan curves are great.
I have said this roughly a million times before, but I think my soundcard has finally bitten the dust. Integrated sound just isn't right :(
I need to update my iPod Touch from iOS 5.0.1 to 5.1.1 without losing my jailbreak... How do I do that?
This isn't the quick question thread, and I'm pretty sure there used to be a jailbreaking megathread somewhere
So my girlfriend got her first DSLR and was a bit trigger happy. She was randomly taking pictures all night and this happened. [t]http://i.imgur.com/GzFHb.jpg[/t] Unintentional brtface
Quick, gigapixel version, now!
The best I have
[t]http://www.google.com/about/datacenters/gallery/images/_2000/GBL_022.jpg[/t] Even Google workers prefer ThinkPads.
Thinkpads are very often used by professionals and in businesses. I'm guessing it's due to their easy reparation and the durability they have. Also nice that they all use the same charger (Pretty much).
Well, I got my Hyper 212+ today. The fucking backplate won't go on because Asus in their infinite wisdom put a few voltage regulators where the backplate needs to sit flush to the motherboard, so I couldn't get the last nut on. Hopefully NCIX doesn't charge me for return shipping in addition to the 15% restocking fee. If they do, I'll probably just keep it since I got it for $20. The 200mm bitfenix fan I also got didn't have screw holes on both sides, so I had to use it as an exhaust and switch my 120mm fan around to use it as an intake. Eh.

I even saw a student with a fucking Alienware M11x.
Eyeballing a T61p as a replacement for my completely broken T60 mmm, Quadro FX570 @ 1920x1200
wow nice shoddy render, thank god it doesn't actually look like that..
better but still fugly imo
It looks like a DS, Vita, laptop, and sliding phone had an orgy
though it's mainly the thickness that makes it hard to take it seriously; probably makes it more comfortable in the hand though
Eyeballing a T61p as a replacement for my completely broken T60 mmm, Quadro FX570 @ 1920x1200
That's on my watch list... £90 in my bank, fuck it I'm not getting that thing for £330
Are there any good cases that are a big tower and not so heavy?
though it's mainly the thickness that makes it hard to take it seriously; probably makes it more comfortable in the hand though
Ashens did a pretty in-depth review of it and it's actually really comfortable, even the keyboard
I had £180 handy when I was looking for mine, I've kept a bit aside for upgrades.
I dunno how to convince my mom and dad on the t61p. Shit goddammit fuck. I swear to god I hope there will be another similar model.
Are there any good cases that are a big tower and not so heavy?
Why is weight a concern? I would assume Lian-Li's or anyone's aluminum options would be quite a bit lighter than your average full tower.
Are there any good cases that are a big tower and not so heavy?
I'd assume NZXT because their cases have more plastic than the Jackson family.
