I'd assume NZXT because their cases have more plastic than the Jackson family.
Actually the NZXT cases out of plasti and aluminium and ?steel? are heavier, atm i have a case that is a Fractal Design Arc Midi. What bothers me the most is space i don't like to work in such a small space. Currently i like the BitFenix Shinobi XL a lot.

OH MY GOD you guys This whole time I thought my ISP was blocking inbound port 80. In reality, our modem was replaced with a modem/router. So I've been forwarding ports in the original router wondering why it's not working, and now there's a router in front of my router that doesn't have any ports forwarded. Shit.
So my girlfriend got her first DSLR and was a bit trigger happy. She was randomly taking pictures all night and this happened. [t]http://i.imgur.com/GzFHb.jpg[/t] Unintentional brtface
Worship our new bert.
I'm not terapixeling that photo. BRT completely fucked my AMD x3 and 6GB RAM. It's now only got 4 GB of RAM now thanks to the dead slots.
Worship our new bert.
heresy
heresy
Times are changing, adjust with them or be left behind.
Nobody can replace the brt
not even brt himself in other newsss I finally sent my electronics homework thing half an hour after it was due and it's probably not correct but oh well
Worship our new bert.
The only one I can truly worship is myself [sub][sup]and pretty much every member of Lacuna Coil[/sup][/sub] Though I do respect gman's emperorness

oh shit oh shit, I'm panicing. The NTFS partition that has all my school work and a shitload of personal files on my external drive refuses to mount under Windows or Linux. What do I do?
have you tried a different PC
yes. fails to mount on both Windows and Linux on that as well. No errors or anything, it simply hangs and the drive refuses to do anything. It does spin up, however.
do you think it'd be possible to remove it from its enclosure and plug it straight in?
Nope, it has some weird propietary connector builtin to the drive.
not even SATA? that's gay as balls
Have you tried whatever that file-recovery tool is? I was once able to get data off an unmountable disk using it.
Have you tried whatever that file-recovery tool is? I was once able to get data off an unmountable disk using it.
..It'd help if I knew what the tool was called..
..It'd help if I knew what the tool was called..
Found it. It's called Recuva. From what I remember, though, I had to format the partition before I could run it, and it couldn't recover plain text files (only Office files, images, stuff with recognizable headers). Before you do that, try a few other things: Open the disk manager, see if it appears at all. If you're having a problem like I did, you'll see that disk as an unformatted partition. If it doesn't show up at all, well, you're fucked. If possible, make a raw partition copy before reformatting. What I did was just dd it to a file, but that was for a 4GB flash drive, not a much larger hard drive. But this means that, worst-case, you can't make things worse - you can at least recover it to how it is now, assuming there's no hardware problem.
Brt your avatar is no longer relevant
disk management freezes until I unplug the drive and its a 1TB drive, I don't have anything large enough to store an image of the drive on so I'm fucked. Woo! [editline]17th October 2012[/editline] device manager sees it and under linux its still a valid blockdevice, it seems the filesystem must be fucked up so bad that nothing will touch it funny thing is, it was working fine until I rebooted a couple hours ago. [editline]17th October 2012[/editline] oh its also worth noting that the partition table is in fact fine, parted sees partitions without issues but they cannot be mounted (of course)
lavacano has a cristina scabbia boner
You act like that's news
