I like the mail app. I can't find a nice desktop email client that doesn't dredge UI elements up from 1995 though, so its the best one I have on hand.
Sublime Text 2, but as a mail client would be gorgous.

In a browser? Awkward.
The win8 mail app gives me notifications and shows my unread messages on the lock screen, it just works better.
Chrome has desktop notifications. I get mail notifications even when chrome is closed. And when chrome is open, I see a pretty little icon telling me I have unread messages as well.

be amazed
My can is non-flammable.

HEY INTERNET
I need new names for my hard drives
I formerly had Alpha (SSD/Boot Drive), Beta(1TB stuff drive), Charlie(120GB old and noisy drive), and Delta(16gb flash drive)
Then this year I had Peregrine(SSD), Albatross(1TB), Woodpecker(120GB, it clicks when reading things, seems perfect), and Hummingbird(16gb flash drive)
Now I need new a new pattern. Preferably one that allows for more flash drives, because I have 4 flash drives that I use now.
Use fish.
My can is non-flammable.
no it's not
Use fish.
This is an option

Maybe he means the tin can it's in is not flammable. The inside obviously is

I have a suggestion, then. Name them based on size. So the big terabyte one is Uranium, the SSD is Fluorine, the smallest flash drive is Hydrogen, etc. That might be an easy way to keep them straight.

Scratch that, it says "NON-FLAMMABLE" on the front, and then in the small print it says "7% by mass flammable contents.".
Not going to try.

You do realize you're going to run out of names once 128-drive RAID setups become common, right?
why don't you goofs just go with good hard drive names like "system" "data1" "data2" and so on

Terra the 1TB drive, heh.

Decided on full naming scheme, I initially wanted to do something based on size only, but that didn't sound badass enough
So I settled on

The 100mb thing is the System reserved partition
It won't let me merge it, so I'm just going to let it exist
The flash drive names are:
Fluorine (Girlfriend already suggested this one, 16GB kingston data traveler)
Chromium (This one has Portable Chrome on it, perfect name. Also known as the USBeCool from a long time ago)
Nitrogen (It's just a cool element, open to changes. This will be my 16gb tiny drive)
Gallium (32GB USB 3.0 drive, It's a badass element name too)
You do realize you're going to run out of names once 128-drive RAID setups become common, right?
Planets are great. Once you run out of planets, you add in moons and then you move onto solar systems, belts and galaxies.
I have "Local Disc", "media and whatever", "GAYMES" and and then my glossy, black, oversized external is called "Monolith".

I just realized you're misunderstanding RAID here.
Good job.

Yeah, that was unintended.

I write names of drivers on a piece of paper before raping them with RAID.
THEY DESERVE AN IDENTITY

I like this habit.
Also, I used to make phrases out of drive names.
I had these for like a year:
C: Apple
D: Sucks
E: Dicks

Name all the drives different species of social insect.
