Hey guys. I need some help. The charger I was using for my laptop was taken from me. The charger wasn't mine to begin with but I haven't had the money to buy my own. So I'm wondering if one if you sipwickets could spare some cash and help get me a new charger for my T61. I'd appreciate it quite a lot.
Reposting for a new page. Sorry if it seems like begging.

Eh?
I spent an hour and a half trying to put one of the older style PS3 controllers back together. One of the tiny plastic "hooks" that hold the left L2 button on decided to snap off and the spring decided to break too. I managed to bend a piece of wire into the right shape, though after countless attempts to get the case to close unsuccessfully with the trigger popping off every time, I snapped and slammed it into the floor. Taking apart an iBook G3 is less of a pain in the ass...
Anyone know if the $20 knockoff controllers any good?
Eh?
It's not Payday and/or spent every cent on tampons
By the way I can offer a DOTA 2 beta in return. :v:

I traded mine for a Planet Side 2 Beta Key.

Have an old SATA laptop or something?
Use it for that.

Same thing happened when I was trying to put my PS3 controller back together. I swear to god that thing is impossible to assemble once you take it apart. I had to take mine apart because a colony of ants was living inside it, apparently leaving the window open during cold weather is not a good thing to do in Florida. They found the warmth of the NiMH battery inviting and decided to call it home. Imagine my surprise when I lent it to my cousin and he screamed and dropped it. I almost yelled at him but then I looked down and saw hundreds of ants pouring out of every opening of that remote including the D-Pad and edges of the USB port. After carefully unscrewing it I saw thousands of tiny ants carrying eggs around inside the controller just pouring out it looked like millions at one point. They were even huddled inside the edges of the vibration housing and underneath the trigger casing. They wedged themselves inside the god damn buttons.
NOPE

And I thought mine were bad because the previous owner smoked... He also gave me a newer style controller, which wasn't too bad to reassemble.

Only if you want to see me in a boiling rage from trying to understand that game and failing

make it even nerdier than normal ss13

Gonna use it on my hotswap bays.

I would love that
All the servers but facebase (I'm not sure if it is still up or not) are awful
I am pretty sure it doesn't take a lot of resources, so we could just get a cheap vps or something
The fun thing about SS13 is playing with random people whose actions you can't really predict.
Static playerbase - will get old in about a week.

Random people can be slightly boring too, I used to play on Gibbed a lot and I was the only scientist to ever use the teleport lab for a while. I wanted someone else to mess around with teleportation with.

I've just found that you can put a thinkpad t400 motherboard in a t61 case.
Just bought this used, for 50$

It was kind of an impulse buy, but I had been thinking about getting some sort of small video camera that I can just use if cool stuff happens. My DSLR is not really that practical, and it isn't exactly pocket sized :v:
Did I do good?
[editline]21st October 2012[/editline]
Oh, and for people who don't know what it is (I mean, it does kinda look like an MP3 player or something), it's a Creative Vado HD.
And the reason I don't use my phone is because 640x480
$50? You might have been able to get a decent point-and-shoot camera that takes HD video and has a half-decent lens+optical zoom if you went up a little.
