I dunno who designed this, but I demand his head on a plate.
My laptops fans are on full speed when i play videos etc.
I removed the old thermalpaste and put on some noctua thermalpaste, what i didnt know was that this thermal pad that was on the gpu chip needs to be there.
I have removed it and now it has the thermalpaste on it.
Is there any way to fix this maybe without getting a thermalpad?
i did that on my z61 and i took a piece of aluminum stock i had around and made a thermal shim. thick enough to make it have good contact, so just splat paste onto either side of the shim and slap it on the gpu, bolt down heatsink.
Niantic Project just added me on G+.
For those who do not know, some users, including me, began to uncover a Google ARG. All trails were dead-ends, but yesterday, it appears that things have been set in motion yet again. Check out nianticproject.com for more details.

Why do you think it's Google related?
Why do you think it's Google related?
Well, why else would you be on G+?
Well, it's also on Tumblr and Twitter. Site is Google sites.
[editline]1st November 2012[/editline]
My assumption is it's project glass related.
It says NianticLabs@Google. Niantic Labs made some "Field Trip" app, according to engadget: http://www.engadget.com/2012/09/27/googles-niantic-labs-launches-field-trip-app-for-android-helps/
I tried the 805 3NIA OPS number on the site (805 appears to be in California) using GMail, because fuck long distance fees. When I called I got a series of DTMF tones, which I attempted to decode using a random app I found on Google Play held to my headphones. It came out with "466**251###6***00452". I tried a website that detects DTMF and it says "46*251#6*0452", which looks a lot more correct considering the number of beeps...

I hate that kind of analogy. It doesn't take into consideration things like CGMT, FGMT, SMT, etc. all it does is show the difference between no MT and SMT. It's incredibly bad and it doesn't take into consideration things like core efficiency and switching latency.

It is a simple explanation
it's a simplified explanation, if you want to include all that crap it'll be 400,000 pixels tall

It's not something you can simply explain though, not without people getting the wrong idea and it happens all the fucking time.

Also, how is the G600?
Considering getting one, and replacing my R.A.T3.
my mouse always makes problems on linux X11, because of some special button.
It's AMAZING! Takes a little bit to get used to due to the third button but omg, it's so comfortable!

I prefer the term "clitmouse".
Also content. According to HP's Business Support, it's impossible for a CMOS battery to die and disconnecting the hard drive will allow you to access the BIOS.

well they're right
batteries are incapable of death as that would imply they were ever alive, and disconnecting the hard drive doesn't suddenly disable BIOS access
