I'm not sure I know anyone who wouldn't side with Gary on there, the more I've looked into him the better he looks as a presidential candidate.

Several months before the election (around the primaries), I went onto Wikipedia to look up every single candidate, to see which best agreed with my own complex personal political theories (I call myself a "socialist libertarian").
I already disliked Obama, mainly due to the fiscal policy, the drone killings, the flip-flops over the Arab Spring (sure, deploy to Libya, but don't raise a finger for Syria?), and basically continuing every bad policy Bush started. I hated every word of Romney. Against Santorum (who was still a semi-viable candidate at the time), I think I would have preferred Stalin. The Green party as a whole is a single-issue party in a two-party system - it'll never work. Even most of the Libertarian candidates were either crazy anarchists, or just plain crazy. Johnson was the only one to make *sense*. We disagree on many points, but he at least recognizes the dividing line between "evidently-good idea" and "idea that works within a purely Libertarian political framework". His good ideas are the ones he's assigned the highest priority. His bad ideas he's said "we can get to these later, we need to balance the budget before we try to switch to the gold standard".
I'm really surprised Johnson didn't even win New Mexico. He was the freaking governor for as long as legally possible, and had pretty high approval rates, but the second he switches from the Republican party to the Libertarian party, he loses 50+% of his voters.
Sometimes I really hate American politics. At least I know most countries aren't much better off (I'm looking at you, UK - 1984 was *not* an instruction manual).
You know what else I hate? Recursion bugs.
We had a very nasty problem with our system today. We had a very nice error-logging system, but today it happened to break. So trying to save an error to the database itself triggered an error that tried to insert itself into the database. Long story short, if absolutely anything went wrong in your code, it would loop like that until it took up all RAM and all swap space. ALL of it. Only then would Apache hit an OOM error and crash completely. Somehow it even blasted around PHP and Apache memory limits - we have it set so PHP cannot use more than 256MB per process, yet several were managing to use over a gigabyte.
Well, since the deadline was four hours ago, you know how we fixed it?
We disabled all error logging. The functions are still there, but at the head of each of them is "return". They do nothing.
And that's just one of countless errors we encountered today. Seriously, it was an 18-hour workday for us.
Looks like our (WA) marriage law (allow any 2 persons to marry), and marijuana legalization law are going to pass!

I think pretty much all Europeans (and probably some other areas in the world) are going to align a bit more with Jill Stein, then Obama.
What I really don't like about the greens is their stance on nuclear power.
While alternative energy is cool and okay with me, it's not going to reach the same efficiency as nuclear energy for at least a decade.

I got 99% with Jill :v:

Nuclear energy definitely is the way to go in my opinion. Not like it's really relevant which of the candidates I agree with, I'm Danish anyway.
I voted on every greenlight game so gar:

You probably got it stolen one way or another
They never change the passwords, that way they can go grow their e-peen by greifing servers with the 100 accounts they bought on Hackforums
I was using a very basic password (6 digit all numbers), I changed it. I think it wasn't even possible to change your password for a while...
Now I'm paranoid about people with my account. FUCK.
I'm still shocked that Steam for Linux exists, and it works.
who the fuck is this bitch

Guys, wtf is going on with my dropbox? Pictures are zoomed in genormously and I can't zoom out only zoom in more..
Calm the fuck down you guys about MC.
No, your user isn't stolen. They are using cracked clients. They can insert any username they want to. No, they won't be able to play in servers because they can only play in offline-mode: false servers with that.
A worker just came into the office, and complained about his notebook running slow (not his work notebook)
I took a look at it, booted it up, and everything crashes. booted up acronis, and tried to take an image.
MOTHER OF GOD.
look at all those bad sectors.
4 more hours left, and then I've saved an image of the files of the HDD (if some of them are still intact)
Note: the partition is 30gb large. 4 fucking hours for 40gb. JESUS FUCKING CHRIST!
I'm afraid to do a S.M.A.R.T check on it.

Diagnosis: it's an HP.
Hmm, I should replace the batteries in my keyboard, but fuck it.
The latency gets really bad when it has empty batteries. But I ain't planning on gaming right now so the batteries can die in peace.

My printer wasn't working so I smacked it and then it started printing every document I've unsuccessfully tried to print in the last week, and the pages got binded together from humidity or something so it printed half a page per page and basically made a disaster
thanks hp

Kinda planning on doing that when I get a new one since I could probably get a whole one dollar for reselling this printer
