You should edit your OP so people are aware of that before answering/helping you.
I have no idea what you meant with whatnow v2 but I guess it has nothing to do with what I said.
But I'm glad you figured it out by yourself rather than someone else telling you. (I really am, no pun, no troll)
my friend who gave my the GPU and helping me is whatnow v2, he is currenty perma'd.
cool. that explains :)
May I advise you an Antec Earthwatts Power Supply?
I have a 500 Watt because I don't have a rad gaming rig.
Here is the 750 Watt Version:

I think these power supplies are great.
Different parts in computers need different voltages, A power supply slices the electricity coming out of your wall socket into smaller bits.
During that process a lot of electricity was lost, with the new generation of power supplies that problem belongs to the past.
The Antec Earthwatts provide maximum perfomance and save energy.
I'm thinking of getting this http://www.microcenter.com/single_product_results.phtml?product_id=0294050
To know the wattage you need you can use this handy page to calculate the power usage. you will be surprised how low it actually is.

The power supply you mentioned will work, but I'm not sure it provides the quality of more priceyer psu's
awesome, I'll look into this more. I don't want a time bomb of a PSU...

it says my minimum is 553 watts, so I'll look into a 600+ watt PSU.
You can read reviews on that psu you mentioned on the link below

ok well I found this for $5 USD less at a local store, http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16817153114
good pretty good reviews on Newegg and it has exactly what I need.
I'd recommend going to your local store, explaining what you want and have and they will help you far better than I can do from behind my computer.
The PSU is important, yes. but there isn't that much difference between psu's than between gpu's or cpu's
ok, thanks for all your help.
