I got my blackberry bold 9700 about 4 months ago, and there has been no problems until today. I'll be browsing the internet or looking at appworld, and whenever i scroll up,
the tp thinks it's being pushed down and it selects some random thing that i didn't try to select. After i looked closer, i discovered that the top of thetrackpad had sunken down, so that whenever
i scrolled up the top half would push down into the pressure sensor and select something that i didn't want to.
I really don't want to send it in, because i've heard that it will take several weeks to be fixed.
Are there any quick fixes that i can do to fix it?
Ps: google didn't help at all
Sounds like the only thing you can do is send it in. It seems like it was pushed in too hard or something cracked.
Hard to say.
I have had my 9700 since the release date and I haven't had any problems like that, so best bet is to just take it in or send it in, whichever way works best for you.
I think i'm going to take it to the carrier's local store,
i just don't want to not have a phone for a few weeks because they'll probably send it in.
Might as well just get it fixed for free while the warantee is still effective instead of delaying the inevitable.
