No only people with cable OCD are meant to post here. :downs:
oh look, another "post your" thread whose purpose is already served by an existing PY thread
So I decided to take your advice and I turned my HDD and SSD around so the cables are now hidden, after a bit of cutting, poking and swearing I managed it.
Ajacks when are you going to come to one of our LANs? We had a 6-man last Friday.
Ah yes, sorry about not attending a LAN with people I don't know. Next time make sure to leave a memo with my secretary.
Holy Fuck ajacks nice setup
Although this picture is about exactly five years old and I have upgraded some hardware since, in my opinion mine is the best cable management so far:

My cable management hasn't really changed at all since that picture and I think it perfectly presents my caring for the looks of my PC.
Also in the picture is shown a blue CCFL which beautifully lits the cables for observation through the side window of my case.
I found one thing I like about my cable management.

What is with all the hard drives.

I only see three, its better to have your data on a bunch of drives then on one single big drive. You can never have to many hard drives.

not really, i could stick most of those behind the motherboard tray but I cba to turn off my PC
Yeah, on lowest settings. :smug:
Medium High actually at 1360 x 760 only because it has a real GPU and none of that integrated crap. CPU goes apeshit and FPS drops significantly if there are a lot of sounds. I don't know why, but sounds are its major weakness in Source games. And lots of objects moving but that's obvious.
Still better than playing on Intel 950 graphics on my laptop. Not very much, but it will suffice for now.
Fits in the case? Close it.
Anyone have any advice or comments for painting a case's interior black? Maybe even red(?)

Google it up! But in short:
Take the case completely apart. (PSU if you want too.)
Sand it completely down. Start of with a low grit, and then go to a finer grit. Do a little wet sanding too, with the finer grits.
Clean it.
Setup so you don't get paint anywhere, and then get your spray paint, and do a small layer at a time. The biggest mistake you can make is doing too much, to fast, and not waiting long enough between turns.
Read and follow instructions. And when you are done, if you want you can hit it with some clear paint to make it glossy and shiny. (I prefer matte.)
There are lots of convos on old dead forums about this.
And even though there are so many steps, even what I just told you is a little overkill. spray paint is spray paint. Just follow the instructions as closely as you want. And don't skimp on the paint you use. I would use auto/car paint. I used some crappy paint, when I painted a mouse, and it turned out, sticky. I wanted to be able to glide my finger across it.
You also need primer, or else the paint could start peeling.
I think.
Pro tip : Face the connection end of your hard drive towards the front of the case, route cables behind the cage. Makes for much nicer cable management.
:byodood: Never thought about that...

seriously x.x ribbons are so weird to look at.

i didnt use primer and my paints fine. But i didn't go jamming in all my components in which might scrape the chasis. So i guess if your not using primer be careful when your putting stuff back in.

I would highly recommend using a primer first.
@JOE
On smooth metal, regular paint doesn't like to adhere. Also, if you are thinking of using a matte paint. Don't. Matte paints are a pain to clean if you get any dust in there. Also, when painting make sure you have ample time to let the paint dry and that it is in as dry of conditions as possible. If you need any specific advice, I painted my whole HAF black on the inside.
