the only people that care about cable management are people with aspergers, cheers
where did the LED come from?
What? If you're referring to the location of the LED, it's in the center of the fan under the Nvidia logo.

Damn, Same case and such though.
Posting this for sheer epicness since zorlok doesn't post anymore.
Well, thanks for the repost. I put a fair amount of time into it...so I'm glad to see that some people still like my build :v: The cabling itself is pretty much done now...I'll just be putting a 5870 in there soon.
But as far being inactive, yeah, I've got other things going on now. So FP really isn't a place I frequent anymore. Oh well, I'll probably post pictures eventually after I purchase my new GPU.
I think this was my first post in....3 months? A FPer had just linked me to this page...otherwise I probably wouldn't have known.

Also I love the key start. :allears: Also I would like some pics when you get the new gpu.

It's only for hard drives facing the motherboard tray. What you did was just complicate things.

I see nothing hazardous with that.

I've got minimal, what could be considered no, experience with servers and whatnot. I took a tour of a companies server room with help from a guy that works there. The one I saw was like absolutely perfect and all managed and stuff. I just about shit my pants when I saw all those wires. Power to him for having that, but if I were him I'd route those things a little better. Just an opinion.

You should see where my Dad works. He works at a telecommunications company, and when I was in grade 10 there was this "take your kid to work day" thing for school, so he took me to his work, to one of the central offices, where all the telephone and cable wires meet up. I swear to god, there were stacks and stacks and stacks of messy telephone wires that went all the way up to the ceiling which was 20 feet high. It looked like a huge wall of a snakes nest. And surprisingly, all of them were connected and functioning properly, being all connected to houses and such. Then he took me to all the servers and the hubs and stuff, and those looked like nothing compared to the ceiling high telephone wires. I don't even know how they manage all those wires.
So if you guys think bad cable management in your computer is bad, you've seen nothing.

My picture earlier is actually relatively good, the next two are at another one of my facility's i work at.
Although this picture is about exactly five years old and I have upgraded some hardware since, in my opinion mine is the best cable management so far:

My cable management hasn't really changed at all since that picture and I think it perfectly presents my caring for the looks of my PC.
Also in the picture is shown a blue CCFL which beautifully lits the cables for observation through the side window of my case.
Yeah, thats pretty close to mine
I have to shove them back in whenever I open the case.
Its by my feet so I don't admire it though

Ribbon cables are fine for cable management as long as you follow some rules. Make sure its black, make a tight crease on your 90s so that they look clean.
You can also make your own round cables pretty easy.
Hai gaiz.
