This forum is based around Garry's Mod.

I dunno, originally I thought that GMOD would take too much CPU and RAM. We may sell em, we'll see.

While it does use more resources, if you could figure out a good pricing plan I can see it being a great success. I say wait it out just a little bit and see how the CS:S and TF2 sales go and take it from there. As for the control panel, making it open source would be awesome. I'm all for it, but you guys are running a business. You could offer some sort of licensing system must like that of TCAdmin, but at a more affordable price. But really, it's totally up to you. As for features for the control panel, all I can think of now is e-mail notifications (make them optional, obviously) for when your server crashes (along with some kind of log rollback to see what happened). I really like where this is going. I might buy a server some time in the near future if my community is up for it. I'm really liking what I'm seeing in your business. You guys really seem to know what you're doing, and you show true dedication to your customers. Keep it up!

Now that I think about it you're probably right. However, our servers are hosted on Linux and the linbins are still in beta stages. We probably could use them, but there will be issues coming up of which will then come back at us for having shitty servers or something.
Maybe run Virtual Windows boxes?
Just sent you a pre-sales 'mabobby, now I read this. Win, with extra sawce. I am willing to buy into it now, but I am a resident of the UK. No London servers yet? Tell me when you have one.
Maybe run Virtual Windows boxes?
Licensing issues. Windows isn't practical from that aspect.
what you mean is, this forum was created because of Garry's Mod
Which is of course ridiculous, since this forum came around due to Facewound.
it's not gonna take any more than L4D
gmod servers are naturally both more insecure and more unstable than servers for other source games. Even the most high-dollar Gmod servers crash at least once a day, while CS:S, TF2, L4D, all crash comparatively irregularly.

Welcome, jjervey. createserver --user=galago --template=tf Server would be created but we haven't gotten that far. It would've been created for galago with the tf template.
:ninja:
