You guys with dual-monitor setups make me jealous. It looks so comfortable.
It's custom ordered from the "Order a custom mouse pad for $2.99" thread in GD. And it's easier for me to play my steam games with the keyboard on top and mouse on the tray.
Why did you add the "steam" part? I just kind of found that part to be unnecessary. [editline]01:44AM[/editline] So I built my new desk, was a pain in the ass since this thing weighs a ton. Anyway, I finally hooked up my second monitor because I hadn't had it hooked up while the PC was on the floor, and CCC doesn't seem to want to detect it. I have 2 5870s in crossfire, the monitors are plugged into separate cards. My computer knows that there is a second graphics card, and it shows both of the cards, but it just doesn't detect the second display.. I am downloading CCC again to see if it is an updated version or something, but I don't think it is. Crossin my fingers for this shit to work. [editline]02:09AM[/editline] Okay, so I installed CCC again, and it like automatically restarted my computer or something, and then both screens worked! Kind of... Well, the second display was the wrong resolution, and the primary display showed my wallpaper and the top left fourth of the screen was all black and in that fourth it showed the start button. Uhm. Yeah, I couldn't see my mouse, and then my entire primary display decided to go all like "LOL WUT IS GOIN ON K" and just showed a bunch of vertical lines going between 3 different colors. Then the computer turned itself off for some reason and then started itself back up a few seconds later. Yeah. And then, uh, well, it is back to how it was before with only one of the displays working, and the other one not being detected. Help? [editline]02:10AM[/editline] Well actually, the second monitor is receiving a signal apparently because it isn't telling me that it is NOT receiving one.. That doesn't change the fact that the computer isn't detecting it though. Or doing anything with it whatsoever.. [editline]02:15AM[/editline] I'm gonna make a thread since this is kind of off topic.
Wow, Is your dad called Bill Gates?
would Bill Gates buy Sony stuff post PS1?
He most likely meant to sat that the guy is rich.
Not really.
So I made a thread.. If you can help that would be nice.
Plug both monitors into the same card.
There is only 1 HDMI slot on each card.
he's a midget
That explains everything, or he is an amputee.

It used to have a back, it fell off. [editline]12:05AM[/editline] But yes, it's rather comfortable.
There is only 1 HDMI slot on each card.
don't use HDMI then? I thought you had dual monitors not TVs, and even then they should still have VGA or DVI or DVI to HDMI adapters
