Again... YOU HAVE A MACBOOK PRO!
Are you being sarcastic, and I'm somehow unable to tell?

He bought it with his own money, because he makes a living off of selling 3D models.
I bought my PC with the money from working at a pool all summer, well most of it went to the computer... I was able to get 2 monitors from my money and a 4870 when it was glorious, which it still is.
I am kind of annoyed by the fact that some 12 year olds (I FUCKING KNOW ONE) have 3 monitors that they got from their parents giving them $6,000 to spend on a computer.
I was just messing around, pure boredom and it resulted in me messing with FP till I got called out.
I don't give a shit where people get their money, if they earn it, get given it, whatever it doesn't matter in the end. It doesn't change what you or I have at all.

I bought my Macbook Pro with money earned from a dog sitting business. It was basically the first purchase I had ever made. Being a Jew, I hate spending money. And I still had 1000 dollars left over. Once I reached 1K at 12, I swore to never let my money go beneath that point. And when I reach 2K, I'll make sure I never get below that. etc. I will continue this process until I move out, at which point I don't know what I'll do with the money. Or I might use it for college.

Ditto. My brother has a D40, that I use, and it seems in low light, I can only take really yellow pictures, and I have to hold the camera really still.
I bet you don't use the lens that came with though, huh?
i messes around and took a picture of my new keyboard
but my camera refuses to focus on my whole desk, it's weird
i used the stock lens also maccabee

I've got a D90 by the way.
For low light photography go ahead and set it to manual, raise your ISO to 800 or above (depending on situation) and mess with your aperture size, I use nothing by full manual mode now since it's a good way to force yourself to learn. Also if the photos come out off color, as in to yellow or blue, change your white balance setting.
Also, if you want more of your desk in focus then you need to raise your F stop, but then you have to change your aperture and ISO to compensate in low light situations.
how do you change the f stop?
how do you change the f stop?
I dont know the D50 but just flip it to M, press info and scroll the right wheel around, Lower is brighter.

For low light you should always have the aperture wide open, so you can have shorter exposure time and use a lower ISO.

You have to strike a balance though because you don't want to shallow of a DOF depending on the subject.
What the fuck is that light.
I forgot to turn off bloom.
[sp]It's just sunlight shining through a window on the opposite wall[/sp]

It's a sacrifice worth doing to let more light in.
Also if you're posting pictures online at a small resolution it wont make a huge different.

Goddamnit, Ajacks.
You make it sound so easy. I was messing around with my sister's D90 a week or so ago and couldn't figure out shit. Fuck.

It's taken me weeks of using it on M mode before the stuff is starting to become second nature. Maybe eventually I'll call my self a photographer, most likely not though since I'm still just a humble modeler, lol.

You can still have a huge monitor and friends. Its just funny that you have picture of your setup of a 30inch Dell screen and ANOTHER screen right next to it? Should i post the picture of it for you?
