do some cable management or get some extenders and hide all the cables behind the motherboard. And overclock the 5850 to 5870 clocks.
And overclock the 5850 to 5870 clocks.
Is there really a point to this, taking into account my 2-year-old mobo, CPU and RAM (and the rest)?

Were you expecting a "Hurr that is marble"? I don't think anyone here cares enough about your rock to debate what it is.

Btw, you know you can take the stickers off the laptop. And if it leaves a little residue, just hit it with some goo gone, or glass cleaner.
Hate to kind of get off topic, but does anyone know what would happen if I were to sand this desk (not a recent photo)? It's all covered with plastic n' shit and it's getting on my nerves (plus there water stains n stuff). Would it be better than if it had the plastic cover on it or worse?
You'd have to sand it untill you get to bare wood

Would it be better than if it had the plastic cover on it or worse?
I had a similar desk, and though about doing the same thing. Really, if you sanded far, you would find a really terrible wood, that you wouldn't want to work on, even when painted. But what you can do, (I almost did) is sand the whole thing down, and it may not look different, but you are getting rid of the top layer of plasticy stuff, and then clean it, and use a paint that sticks really well. Possible a plastic paint. And really think, what would look better. That would, or a badly done paint job that no matter how long it dries, is kind of sticky. I would suggest looking at Ikea desks instead. [editline]06:14AM[/editline]
You'd have to sand it untill you get to bare wood
The thing about those kind of desks, is that the wood underneath is like a pinboard. It's got tons of holes and would be a pain to paint on. Who knows, maybe I'm wrong though. [editline]06:15AM[/editline] O and either way, I think that desk looks great. Just get some better, white lighting up in there.
