He should get a poster made of that picture of his room. In fact, I might do this.
You'd have considerably more room if you placed your tower on the floor, why do you have it on the desk? with the side off? Most cases circulate air better with the sides on since they channel air properly.

I have never understood why people do that.
Because when you spend 2500$ on a tower, you want to see it every second.
Or maybe that's just me.
Repositioned my desk for 2010. Not done yet so I cut off half the image.

I have 3 cats that like to rub against things at floor level.
Cat hair is no good for airflow. :saddowns:
The screen space is amazing, even my mother became addicted to the space when she was doing a final power point presentation on my setup. Being able to have a movie going, three web pages, photoshop, 3ds max and a few chat windows open simultaneously really does jade a person.
My first LCD was a 19" Viewsonic VX922, upgraded that to two Dell 2005FPW's which were hot shit when they were new. Got the 30" and ran the 30 and a 20 till I got an SLI setup. Then I ran all three, once I got the cintiq I took it to four. I was given a broken Viewsonic VX922 (identical to my existing one) and I repaired it by replacing six blown capacitors on the display board. Once I had two of those I decided to bite the bullet, buy some wall mounts and add them to the setup for the hell of it. Had to get a 8600GTS to run them as well. I've finally taken them down and they are sitting in my bedroom closet until I can find use for them again. My setup has suited me well and will suite me well for the coming year and a half before I plan to upgrade. SLI GTX 280's, Q9550, 8GB DDR2 1066.
When I upgrade I am not sure what I'm going to go for. A work station this time around for sure. If I want a gaming machine I'll end up just making a seperate rig, I'd love a Quadro FX4800 or the future equivalent. But till then I'm going to be putting money into my camera and bedroom renovation.
Oh, I'm most likely going to be replacing those 20's soon, they are starting to show their age. I am unsure what I'd want to replace them. They discontinued the nice little 1600x1200 20" Dell Ultrasharp that would have been a perfect match for the 30" when in portrait mode. I think I might just save up for another 30".
Having 2 30" Monitors seems crazy, but I guess it will do good for your type of work, I was thinking of grabbing another 28" for my setup, but I cant spend anymore money at the moment. Also what is that Cintiq like? I had to research up tablets for my college, saw that and was amazed by its features. But 2000£ is a bit much for me, even the 12" one is 1000£. I would have thought you would have a i7 in there with all your modelling stuff you do.

I like using a small bed as a chair better. Nap time is nice.
Also what the hell, my phone has a 1 mp camera, but at higher resolutions it looks less blurred.
^^That first picture looks extremely depressing.
^^That first picture looks extremely depressing.
Its cause the light in the room is one of those spiral florescent lights. Those make everything depressing and hospital like.
^^That first picture looks extremely depressing.
The second one looks even more depressing. you spend so much time on the computer that you just decided to pull up the bed.

Give it 1 month or so, you'll get sick of sitting on something without proper support =/

I've been doing it for over a year. I like it.

I don't have a small enough chair, and the computer is in the guest room.

When my computer chair broke last year, I moved my futon to the front of my computer in place of it. It was AMAZING playing PS1 emulators straight from bed.

It's a drum pad. I spin around and play when I get bored. The music is "Grevious' Groove" and "Cheesy Poofs".

How the fuck did you make the G19 driver work with Win 7? It totally fucks up my computer when I install it. I've searched on the internet, and apparently it's common, I emailed Logitech staff aswell, and they're gonna solve the problem they say, but still. How you do it man?

Work's fine for me. I also have the SetPoint drivers for my G9 mouse. 64-bit.
I like Someguests harvest placemats.
I like Someguests harvest placemats.
I stole them from my dining room table. Mostly there to hide cables and keep the tower from scratching my desk so it looks all neat and pretty. :neckbeard: Also stops my mouse wire from getting tangled up with other stuff on my desk, it's multipurpose!
How do you like that fan controller?
I was thinking of getting one for MY HAF932
How do you like that fan controller?

I love it! Doesn't have any ugly knobs sticking out of my case, and you can turn it off and on at will. Can also change the temperature display to show Celsius or Fahrenheit. It's also very easy to control each individual fan. I haven't attached the temperature probes yet tho so I haven't used the automatic feature.
I can't wait until I get out my dad's old stuff he used for building.
Pretty much every tool from the 80's-90's and I can finally use them since we remodeled our side porch.
First thing: new desk.
Was it possible to hook all the stock fans in the case up to it?
