Do you find it odd, that your primary computer is cheaper then your macbook?
Do you find it odd, that your primary computer is cheaper then your macbook?
How much was it? I can't imagine spending over 1300 on a desktop pc. You don't need to spend that much for a machine that can play crysis on max.

We don't know what he does though.
Although I do agree that I wouldn't spend over 1.3k on a desktop

unless you have a lot of money to spend
Well I personally have been around apple PC's since birth and have witnessed firsthand their long term reliability. It's just my personal experience but I found it to be influential enough to convince me a MacBook Pro was my best choice.

Facepunch now knows my true identity, and yes, I do have a camera for a face, I see in 12 mega pixels. (Found this picture when digging through my cameras folder. Turns out Heather was actually taking pictures when I thought she was just messing around with the camera viewfinder -_- I like the picture though. I need to stop posting pictures but fuck it, i liked this one that she took.
I grew up with an apple II GS and had it for a long time. The next computer we got just happened to be cheaper (windows) so we bought that instead.

Disagreed.
I have a 06 macbook that I use for browsing the web. I've dropped it on the ground many times from my friends bumping into it, and I throw it down to my bed a lot. It still works like a charm. I also had a dell inspiron and it broke when I dropped it onto my bed...
[editline]04:05PM[/editline]
However, for clarification, I would never purchase another one again because they cost to much for me...

Just finished building this baby. It was a bit of a Father Son project over the winter.

(It's really dark under there now. The desk lamp is nice, but I've also got the ceiling wired up for some LED strip lights when I get around to it)
I live in a tiny ass little apartment, and my bedroom is only about 8'x10', so this was needed.
It's all built from 2x4s and maple plywood. I considered just buying an Ikea bunk bed, but this ended up being sturdier, and cheaper.
All in all it's a pretty sleek piece of space saving furniture.

That looks really fun to be inside of.

It only ended up costing about $400 for everything. I was surprised how cheap it ended up being.

That's a comparable bed from Ikea. It's smaller (Only a single mattress, mine's a double), has less desk space, and I imagine it'd collapse the second I climbed on top.
