So I finally get to get a "new" desk, my sister is selling hers and its quite a large desk, nice wood, has a keyboard tray (so much easier) a tower holder (might mod it to have better air flow abilities) and is alot larger than my current desk which is filled up with my 2 monitors and about 10" deep of desk space. :v:
The Units I am using as legs for my desk finally arrived the other day, so I know have most of my desk setup :) Linked because of the massive image size http://img6.imageshack.us/img6/3576/p1260005k.jpg Yes I know about painting the walls but don't have time at the moment

Got my Datacolor Spyder3Elite color calibrator today and I absolutely love it, I'm busy calibrating my setup and it's amazing so far. It's a subtle change but the impact is very extensive.

nothing really changed here my MacBook got a new friend today!!! it's an HP I got from my school as a loaner since I didn't pay $750 for it. (which is a total rip off)
how can you stand such a tiny mouse [editline]12:06AM[/editline] even my G500/G5 feels to small
Nice nice

Damnit, Ajacks :D I want one :(
I just finished calibrating all of the LCD's and I have to say, I'm very impressed. Even the LCD's that I thought were already beautiful were shabby in comparison to their calibrated counter-parts. It really has a tendency to bring out the subtle tones a lot better. The best results were on my Macbook. My 20's are starting to show their age though, I'm tempted to start saving up for a dream setup, all LaCie.
how can you stand such a tiny mouse [editline]12:06AM[/editline] even my G500/G5 feels to small
I really don't know.. how could I use the Mighty Mouse to game for 3 years is a better question.. [editline]04:13PM[/editline]
What spec is it that needed it to be $750?
it's not good at all, that is why it's a rip off. specs: 15" screen 1024x768 AMD Turion 64 x2 1.60ghz 1gb DDR2 667mhz 100gb hard drive ATI Radeon Xpress 1150 256mb (shared) Windows XP Professional SP3 the people who did pay got a nice Lenovo that is somewhat worth the money.
[img_thumb]http://img26.imageshack.us/img26/9642/25132437.jpg[/img_thumb]
Odd placement of the iMac. I'd thumbnail those pictures, or re-size them down to a reasonable size. No one likes to see a picture at 100% size.
Odd placement of the iMac.
No room on my desk, yet I run synergy and do all my video editing on it, It's a nice setup. I was posting pictures of my computer, Just in case people wanted to see.
what are the specs for the iMac?
i did some more work on the desk this evening, not much. I basically cut six grooves in each board called with a biscuit cutter. I then put in about 30 biscuits in total in the wood (all 3 pieces) for the main top table. I then put a good amount of glue on the wood pieces and now it is drying overnight being held by wood grips. The depth of the desk is going to be about 30 inches, and and its going to be 72 inches wide. some pics the biscuit {image} the desk top {image} if you noticed those small ligth colored pieces of wood between the mahogany and wood clamps, those are there so that the clamps don't leave any pressure marks on the mahogany
That's turning out to be a nice desk, how big are you making it?
biscuit
Sup?
Reposted from an old thread, but I like it. <3 Nokia's E series.
what are the specs for the iMac?
20" Widescreen Core 2 Duo (T7700) 2.4 GHz 2GB DDR2 Ram 667 MHz ATI Radeon HD 2600 PRO 320 GB (7200 RPM) HDD I Don't really use it that often. Now that I have my gaming PC.
That's turning out to be a nice desk, how big are you making it?
thanks, but it's gonna be a bitch to finish. I'm making a lot of progress everyday, but i don't wanna clog up this thread. This is my current desk i plan on getting another 23 inch monitor, and with my tablet and case being on the desk (i like looking at the insides) i have absolutely no room for anything, I constantly move my tablet and keyboard back and forth, and its a huge hassle (because i like everything to be nice and tidy as you can see in my pictures). This meant i had to build a longer desk. The depth is staying the same, 28 inches, and the height is going up an inch and a half so i can fit some small drawers in for little things like usb drives and cables. The length is going to be a lot longer though, roughly the length of the windowsill that my current desk lays in front of. It will be about 72 inches, so pretty damn big (for me atleast) and i keep my side panel on, just took it off for the picture
I love how you keep posting pictures of your desk, woodchuck, and nothing looks like it's changed.
I love how you keep posting pictures of your desk, woodchuck, and nothing looks like it's changed.
sorry if my amount of pictures bother you, it was just to show reference for the new size of the desk I'm building.
quick question, are Lenovo laptops good? this HP my school gave me (posted a pic of it already) is driving me insane and I can buy the Lenovo instead. but idk the specs bsides that it has a core 2 duo and is pretty new, i think it's a 2009 release.
:words:
:\ Be nice.
:\ Be nice.
i edited it for you
