It depends on the clearance of the cooler, also some of the XMS3 models do have heat spreaders. The main point is why would you get uATX if you can fit ATX?
yes XMS3 have heatspreaders but they're not needlessly large ones, just a tiny bit bigger mATX or ATX depends on the specific situation, like if you have 2 mobos one of which is an mATX version of the other and they both cost the same and have the same features (that you need) then yeah definitely go ATX but if you're saving money and not losing features that you'll use then there's nothing stopping you from using mATX

Saved a shit ton of money on getting a new case. I also like how compact they are, easily fits into my case without any conflicts with hdd etc.
MATX tend to have less functionality and features, they can also be more expensive depending on what you want to do with it.
