No I won't. I'm too damn lazy to look. :P
If you need to look, then you're proving my point, either way, so meh :P
wow I can't believe this hasn't been locked, it is butthurt linuxfags trolling windows users for the fact that windows is more popular. I would expect to see this on /g/ not here.
That stuff about inserting a "Thumb" drive (Wtf, they're flash drives or usb sticks) is retarded anyway.
Mac OS X just opens the folder, but Windows, on the first time at least, gives you a list of options, such as playing the music files in a playlist, viewing the pictures or, yes, opening the folder.
The best part is the little tickbox that says "Always perform this action".

If you're talking about the OP, it was actually trying to promote Mac OS over Windows, not Linux.
If you're talking about the last pages, there's no trolling going on.

Yeah, I don't know what the author is going on about. The only difference is that you can actually set it up to do what you want (though I don't because it's a bit retarded to do it on a thumbdrive IMO)

Yeah and the war in Iraq wasn't a war, it was a civil dispute
OP quote is macfag
thread is butthurt trolls
Mac OS X might be good or some shit like that,
but does it have a little girl creating a slideshow of cute pictures, with "the final countdown" as its music?

I don't know what people find wrong with vista? My dad was totally anti-vista (NOTHING WILL WORK IT'LL ALL FAIL).
Then he was forced to get vista when he upgraded.
Now he's reccomending I upgrade from XP to windows 7 because it's better.

There's nothing wrong with a civilized argument.
thread is butthurt trolls
Right now, you're the only butthurt troll. All I see is people discussing.

as an Englishman I have never been more qualified for anything in my life, now if only you could include moaning in there
top hats and monocles for everyone

Cool even though I haven't posted in the thread(trollin with my spidey powers I guess) other than on this page, I was reading the thread and they are quite obvious.
Ugh, I have a friend who is a Mac fag >.> He insists that Windows can barely run Crisis but any Mac can play it at 60 FPS. It's people like him.....

I think I still got a Macintosh dating back to... 1990. Try playing Crysis on that one.
Apple: taking basic products and turning them into over-priced must-have items since 1998.

Try 1976.

My first computer was a mac. It had a 150mb HDD and all I did on it was play shareware games from old 'Mac Format' disks that my uncle gave me.

"buy the new iPhone! we stuck a camera in it this time, because it's not like 90% of phones have had them since like 10 years ago or something!"
Upgrading From Windows XP Requires a Clean Install
I want to clean install anyway. Especially since upgrading (from anything) can leave leftover problems from your old OS.
The Upgrade Is Expensive
Hooray for student discounts.
It’ll Cost You Time, Too
What?
It’s Still Windows
I need gaming support. And I'm not Linux-savvy and I don't like dual-booting.
Security Isn’t Automatically Better
Security has never been an issue for me in both XP and Vista. Intelligence, basic antivirus, and a blacklist in your HOSTS file are all you need.
Built-In Support for Egregious Hardware-Based DRM
But it can't restrict any of the DRM-free media I currently use. Just avoid DRM in the future (which you should do regardless of OS).
Snow Leopard Is Almost Here
Fuck Apple.
The real question is, but can you run mac on a pc LEGALLY? I think not.
The real question is, but can you run mac on a pc LEGALLY? I think not.
You think wrong. Technically, if you have a normal Leopard licence, you're allowed to do anything with it. So if you own a Mac you can get anything which'll work. If you can't, my jurisdiction just rocks.
Well, having to wipe my harddrive to upgrade to Windows 7 is a bitch, as I have a lot of things I would like to keep and I don't have anything to back it all up on.
Actually there is an upgrade option, if you are running Windows XP you "UPGRADE" to Windows 7 with all of your old files stored in a folder called "Windows.old" , so you still have your games and what not.
Or if you are running Vista you actually just "UPGRADE", it doesn't delete anything.

you can't upgrade from XP, only vista.
Well i did.
So shut the fuck up.
you can't upgrade from XP, only vista.
I did upgrade from XP to 7
ok even if you two did, its a stupid idea.
ok even if you two did, its a stupid idea.
why is it stupid?
I'm not gonna say whether or not I'm for or against Windows 7.
But god damn, those are the worst 7 reasons I've EVER seen.
I just got Home Premium 64-bit today and it's simple, fast and nice looking.
Upgrading From Windows XP Requires a Clean Install
Oh golly, no way. We'll that's a shame beacuse we can't back up our files. Oh wait, yes we can.
The Upgrade Is Expensive
I got it for free after getting a PC with vista, it is also cheaper if you already have Vista.
It’ll Cost You Time, Too
That's something you have to think about before installing a new operating system.
It’s Still Windows
This conflicts with the third point.
Security Isn’t Automatically Better
But at least it's there.
Built-In Support for Egregious Hardware-Based DRM
Good thing I have my Egregious Hardware-Based DRMaway spray handy.
Snow Leopard Is Almost Here
This confilcts with the first, second, third and fourth point.
I have read from other sources that you are allowed to clean install with the upgrade version of Windows 7.
So I am just making sure that if I use the upgrade version I can clean install on my Vista machine correct?
