Goddamnit, offers are all gone
my server's up :) ping6 ipv6.slashingedge.co.uk if you're on debian or ubuntu linux, and you don't have ipv6 yet, sudo apt-get install miredo, it creates an ipv6 tunnel to somewhere that Just Works (tm) 5gb space, minimal debian install, 128mb RAM. 0.18ms response from google servers so latency ain't too bad. I don't think they can connect to ipv4 addresses whatsoever though.
How can i get ready for the big move to IPV6?
Out of stock :saddowns: Also, apparently my router (and ISP?) supports IPv6 already, without installing anything :v:
Out of stock :saddowns:
It goes in and out of stock... they delete nodes that haven't been logged into for 7 days after being registered, and a bunch of people will sign up for a VPS and then not be able to access it because they don't know how to/straight-up can't due to their ISP's restrictions. So keep an eye on that page. It was out of stock at first for me, but after a couple hours they were open for orders again.
I'm constantly F5'ing this page. Please come into stock soon :saddowns:
thing is i have no idea how tosetup ipv6 for my house ( i know my router supports it tho )
thing is i have no idea how tosetup ipv6 for my house ( i know my router supports it tho )
If you don't know how to configure a VPS/user ipv6 you probably shouldn't sign up (unless you're a fast learner)
Looks like they got more in stock.
v4 to v6 will be a painful switch I think. No software on my pc supports v6.
No ISP in my country supports IPv6
I think I got one :D [editline]17th November 2010[/editline] Anyone know how long approximately setup is?
one day or two
Mines up already just having issues getting a IPv6 tunnel to it
I have the same password on this free VPS as I do on my other IPv4 only one. I ssh'd into my German server (nikomo.eu) and figured why shit was gone missing. Since I have IPv6, it checks the AAAA record and connected to this free server instead, since I have the A record going to my paid VPS and AAAA going to this. I'm a dumbass.
My host doesn't even support IPv6 :saddowns:
did anyone get one of these and decide they didn't want it? i'd love one :shobon:
