I don't know then. Maybe a Ram problem
I'll do further investigation tomorrow, sleep time now. Thanks guys, :h:.
Is your computer self build? If you have Vista can you complete the Vista Rating? Have you overclocked your CPU?
the fuck does the rating system have to do with anything. it's not even accurate
the fuck does the rating system have to do with anything. it's not even accurate
mebe he's trolling :iiam:
Okay it just happened AGAIN. Maybe it's my processor? I'm not entirely sure at all. Didn't know how to use the MemTest thing, a little help? :I [editline]06:15PM[/editline] Also it only seems to occur in GTA:SAMP when I drive or ride in a car. Mainly while listening to the user track station. Please don't make me parkour that game.
My computer randomly restarts/ shits on me when I play Steam games... It dosen't happen very much now though.
Come on guys, I'd like to go more than 4 MPH, while all my friends are doing 90. :saddowns: And it's sad that my 5 year old computer could run a 2004 game/software (Source SDK) better than my new computer. [editline]07:30PM[/editline]
My computer randomly restarts/ shits on me when I play Steam games... Do you see a very quick blue screen of death before it crashes? If so, you can try updating your BIOS. I can help you with that over steam chat if you're not sure how to do so. I had a problem like this and updating the BIOS fixed it.

Well, still, it could be a solution. Also, if you think it's your drivers, you can get some Omega Drivers for your card, which are usually better.
It sounds like the hardware is unstable. Unstable overclocked computers will do this. Run Orthos - http://www.overclock.net/attachments/downloads/36840d1165737486-orthos-orthos_exe_20060420.zip (safe download) and see how long it goes without the program saying you've enountered an error. If it gets an hour in under an hour, then either your CPU/MOBO/RAM is either bad or too fast for one of the other parts to handle.
Running it, so far it's about accurate, didn't show what seconds it started with so it's a bit iffy guess here. Will report back when it reaches an hour.
Uhm, this happened to me and I found out my plug was only partially in, hence causing power problems
Plug in the computer or plug in the outlet. Nevermind, both plugs are in tight. [editline]11:09AM[/editline] It ended EXACTLY on an hour after an hour. Now what to do...
Hey, it's all fixed, Awwwwwwwwwwwwwwww rite. Thanks R2Bl3nd! :buddy: [editline]08:54PM[/editline] Raaa not fixed :argh:

If your CPU or MOBO is being bottle necked, you are more likely to just restart, just like what is happening to your computer. If your motherboard isn't very good, I'd bet your CPU is too fast for your mobo. [editline]10:32AM[/editline] Also, I had this problem but only when I would play games. It ended up being a faulty PSU, and when my GPU would need a lot of power for games, the PSU just couldn't keep up and the whole computer would shut down. But yours seems a little more random. So I don't think that it would be the PSU.
