this is currently the only issue I have with vista. other than that, I'm fine.

Yes, there's a folder size column in Vista, what about it?
Yes, there's a folder size column in Vista, what about it?
no there isn't :(
I don't see a column for that in Vista or 7. If you want to view and compare folder sizes, use something like WinDirStat.
I've never seen a column for folder sizes.
How do you fix the sound on a pair of headphones? While my headphones have been working perfectly on all ranges of sound for games (as far as I can tell from what I've played) they seem to produce this static-y "fuzz" whenever a Youtube video hits a particular range of notes, most noticeably the bass or certain high/low notes when the video has more then one sound going on at once.
I'm looking for some software to monitor Network usage (Must be live) which shows the current Incoming Mb/s including Remote IP, Packet header data, Packet sizes, and preferably be in a graph. I've tried a load of different programs but cant find one that fits. It must also work on Windows Server 2008.

Youtube videos tend to have crap quality audio.
Use high quality mp3 files to listen to music.

wav
Not sure how to phrase this into google, so I'll ask here.
Trying to use XVI32 to do some hex editing, and added it as a context option with "Open with..." under Windows 7. Problem is, after I select it when searching for programs to open a file with, it will refuse to show up as a program. Why wouldn't a program be able to show up after selecting it?
Created a thread about this, but I'm sure it is already dead. Just wondering, purchased the GTX 670 last week; if I'm not planning on SLI-ing, would purchasing a 850W PSU with my new build be kinda overkill? I'm thinking about switching out for a quality 750W PSU and get a 120GB/128GB SSD instead of 60GB.

Also thinking about switching out the P8Z77-V Pro for just the standard P8Z77-V, but I don't know the differences between them besides the two extra USB 3.0 ports on the Pro edition.
no there isn't :(
well then why didn't you say that to begin with
we can't read your mind
quick question
gtx 670 or 7870
quick question
gtx 670 or 7870
GTX 670 for sure.
I got a question about using a flat TV as 2nd monitor
Background:
I bought a new TV yesterday and I was thinking about connecting to it as a 2nd monitor from my computer, which has an AMD HD6950 (1GB) graphics card. Now, I've run into problems as my main monitor is connected with DVI while the TV is connected via HDMI. They don't seem to work together (Can't extend desktop) and I'm assuming it's due to the fact that the card can't use 1 DVI and 1 HDMI at the same time.
The actual question:
As I have a HD6950 with main monitor connected to DVI and TV connected to HDMI and I can't seem to get them to run at the same time. Is there a way to get this to work without using a DVI to HDMI adapter, or do I need to get a 24-pin DVI to HDMI adapter to make both display work together?
That's really weird, as I'm currently using an HDTV as my main monitor through HDMI and a secondary Dell monitor through DVI. By all accounts your setup should work, have you tried fiddling with catalyst center?

Yes, I've also tried to change the display settings in Windows. I can view the desktop if I mirror the main monitor, or choose to view the desktop on the TV only.
I currently have a GTX 570, should I sell it and get a GTX 670 or grab another 570 as they're fairly cheap now?

I'm assuming you've tried assigning the TV to be the main monitor/rebooted?
And just to clarify: if used as the sole display, the TV displays the desktop, and the monitor also displays. But if a secondary display is connected, only the display designated as main displays the image (unless mirrored).

What CPU do you have? While you will see an FPS boost via upgrading a single card, it's [del]probably[/del] definitely more cost efficient to get a second 570 (though I'm unaware of how well they scale through SLi).

I basically have 4 options when it comes to display settings:
1) Mirror the desktop (Mirrored image / Both screens show the exact same thing) Do not want
2) Extend the desktop (Desktop shows on main screen, extra work area on 2nd screen) Does not work (Doesn't allow me to set this setting even)
3) Only show desktop on display 1 (As it suggests, it only shows the image on display 1)
4) Only show desktop on display 2 (Same as above, but for the other screen)
It's really bugging me. I'll play around a little more with the settings once I get home.

I haven't rebooted since that attempt last night. I'll see what happends once I get home.

Actually forget what I said earlier, if I were you I'd sell your 570 and pick up a 670, now that I thought about it.

(Sorry).
I recently build my own computer and the sound through the front panel really sucks, it picks up a lot of computer noise, this does not happen when I plug it round the back. My case was This. I cannot plug it in the back for general use because it is too out the way, and my headphone cable isn't that long. Any suggestions (apart from I should have bought a better case, I'll upgrade that once I have enough money as I can't stand all those little things).
Friend of mine gave me game of thrones on DVD for my birthday, whats the best program to watch them with on PC? I don't feel like downloading codecs to get windows media player to work.

Most cases have poor (If nonexistant) isolation for the audio ports in the front panel, hence the computer sounds. As for the cables being too short, you could problably buy an extender for a rather small sum.

someone told me about this, but it looks far too complex for just a column I need.

Any cases that have good insulation on front panel connectors? I need a new case as I'm not happy with mine, I learn my lesson (this is my first build) don't skimp on the case.

I use PotPlayer (http://tvpot.daum.net/application/PotPlayer.do), you just have to find the skins dropdown and pick the english skin. Easier said than done tbh :v:
Why not vlc like the rest of the world
