sorry if this is the wrong place to ask but within the last few months whenever I try to upload something my router restarts itself, is this an issue with my computer and firewalls or something or just the fault of my router or something else?
A good quality 750W ought to be able to, yes.
Go for Seasonic or XFX if possible.
An 850W might be safer though.
Why would you recommend a 850W psu to someone getting a small die power efficient CPU and GPU?

Fault of the router most likely. Could be heat and after years of use it just wears out. This is what happened to my old WGT624v3. I upgraded to a RT-56U and it races now.
How does one safely disassemble a [custom] desktop computer and pack it away for a long haul?
I've got a TX to FL road trip soon, and I need to know what I can do to keep it safe from the bumps along the way.
Depends on the computer, I'd take out all the harddrives, PCI cards, and the CPU cooler. All those are sensative and or are heavy and can sway. Anything else is either solid state or is mounted firmly to the case.
Place all the things you took out into antistatic bags and pack them in peanuts or into those airbags. The case will probably be fine wrapped in moving blankets and put into a firm place where it can't move. Any time an object moves it's basically gaining momemtum and gaining energy, all that energy will be release in the form of a dent or a breakage when it finally has to stop as it hits something. You reduce the risk of anything breaking by keeping the object from attaining that level of energy, a.k.a. strap it down.
Would this be good for light gaming?

it wouldn't be great but it'll certainly work. Expect low or medium on most newer games
it wouldn't be great but it'll certainly work. Expect low or medium on most newer games
Good enough for me. I just need it to be able to work so I can travel with it and shit.
I can play games like GTA4, Mass Effect 2 and Steam games OK on around medium settings with my similarly spec'd Dell (i5 2430M and a GT 525M), at 1366x768 resolution, not quite so good at 1920x1080.
From what I've read of virtual machines I'm still ignorant of sadly but if I were to download a virtual OS on my flash drive would I be able to get pass the administrative restrictions that stops you from launching applications and play something like SC2?
We have about 2 days left for a 3 hour class and what is left of it is our time to do what we please but unfortunately our teacher has no administrative rights to let us launch games or programs.

Why is my virus scanner like this?
Note the time/speed/amount of data

Could be a complex file. Or a bug in the system causing it to go over the files over and over.
Also why not use MSE.
Because MSE just uninstalled randomly a few days ago. And i can't install it back again. Though it seems only the .exe is missing and i guess if anyone has that file

If noone actually has it I'll install MSE and get it, assuming Avast isn't the jealous type
What are some good mid tower cases with a window with a budget of 70 bucks? I would like it to not have a color look to it(no blue, red, green) to begin with since I plan on adding an orange alchemy led strip in it.
Buying four units at a datacentre for server hosting. Going to be building all four units, so any suggestions where I can get some reliable parts that don't cost a bomb, somewhere in the UK and online?

But I didn't do anything.
But I didn't do anything.
you and a couple others helped a little bit, i just don't like praising people that only helped a lot.
everyone must be thanked equally.
getting my new pc next week, it has an intel i7-3770k and gtx 670. It's gonna be mostly for gaming. I don't know shit about computers and the guy at the store said he was gonna throw in a cpu cooler in case I wanted to overclock.
I know overclocking is supposed to increase your performance or something, but is there really even a need to on a system like this? How much of a difference does it make in practice?
How does this case look for a budget of $70 after applying the coupon code? I plan on adding in orange led fans from XIGMATEK and adding one or two Alchemy orange LED strips.

Need a quick answer on this:
Modular PSU (700W) has two slots for PCIe cables, 4 slots for extras.
Is it safe to run:
5850 Crossfire (1x PCIe + 1x Molex [2x Molex to 6-pin PCIe] per card)
Asus Xonar Essence STX Soundcard on 1x Molex to 2x Molex splitter.
Zalman Fan Controller on same 1x Molex to 2x Molex splitter.
Reason is because I have 1 molex cable that has 3 molex connectors and another that only has 2 molex connectors.

erm, should I be worried? (apart from being frozen for eternity)

Try a different program.
My family computer recently broke so I need to come up with a cheap replacement build ASAP because my mom uses it all the time. The budget is <400$. This is what I came up with:
CPU - http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16819115078
Motherboard - http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16813131793
Memory (RAM) - http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16820211409
Graphics Card - Using Integrated
Hard Drive - http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16822136775
Case - http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16811147112 or http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16811146075
OS - http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16832116986
Power Supply - http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16817371033
Does this look good or is there anything I should change? Any hardware conflicts? Will the integrated graphics work with the motherboard (I'm pretty sure it will, just looking for confirmation)?
I bought a new 1TB hard drive to replace my current 160GB hard drive. I checked and everything is compatible with my current motherboard. When I get the hard drive, how can I set it up so I keep my Windows partition, and can simply move files over to my 1TB hard drive? Do I just plug in the hard drive along with my current one?
Sorry if it sounds stupid but I want to be certain.

If you want the Windows partition on the new drive, you'll have to create an image of the Windows partition and then copy it over to the new drive. Clonezilla is one application that can do this.
If you want to keep Windows on the 160GB and just store files on the 1TB, then just plug the drive in and 'Initialise' it via the Disk Manager (Right click My Computer > Manage > Click 'Disk Management' on the left), then format it to NTFS.
