what's the cheapest (preferrably smaller) 30+ gb flash drive one could find online?
foobar or winamp
Mediamonkey is a good choice too.

I'm having hard time choosing a good non-reference GTX 670.
Asus GTX 670 DC2 TOP would seem an obvious answer but it isn't in stock anywhere. Almost nothing is.
I don't know if I want the normal DC2, I could get factory overclocked GPU at the same price.
[editline]5th June 2012[/editline]
Only a Palit GTX670 Jetstream seems to be in stock.
[editline]5th June 2012[/editline]
eww it has blue leds

EVGA GTX670 FTW?

Don't bother getting an OC edition card, cause you can just OC them yourself.
How would ARMA II run on an i3-2120 and a 7770 at 1440x900? I just want it for dayz
Anyone?
probably will run fine with medium setting and low/no AA with a view distance of 1400 or so
Anyone?
i would say a steady 40-50 FPS, probably.
Hey, quickie question, my buddy is currently using the on-board graphics of this mobo(Asus P8Z68-V)
http://www.asus.com/Motherboards/Intel_Socket_1155/P8Z68V/#specifications
I can't find any info about the specific chip, but here's a 3D mark score they boost about

How much of an improvement would an 8800GTS w/ 320mb of memory give us over the onboard?
Anyone know why my mouse and sound freeze for about 10-20 seconds and then everything becomes unclickable? I can still move my cursor but cant click anything. Crtl alt del doesn't do anything either.
Try defragging or using CCleaner.
I'm Trying to get this home system up and running with my old JVC Stereo Receiver (modell no. rx-616rbk Picture if needed: http://filesmelt.com/dl/IMG_3190.JPG ) and i'm not quite sure if this receiver can use a subwoofer, which would be pretty sad. Please help me Facepunch.
Hello, I'm trying to get a new graphics card for pci express 2.0 x16, and I can't really find anything great for around 80 to 100 dollars. I'm on a tight budget right now, and I was wondering if it would even be worth buying a card for around that much.
What's your current card?
An HD 5450 that was given to me for free with 1 gb of vram, Obviously is an awful card, but it can run source games so I can deal with it for awhile. The worst part Is I have a pretty decent cpu and amout of RAM so its the card that is lugging behind.
If you save $20 more you could get a HD 6770, if not the best you can do for $100 would be to get a HD 6750.
HD 6770 (comes with Dirt 3 for free!) http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814150560

Thanks much! I will probably just wait a little and save up for the 6770.
My CD drive is from 2007, and is IDE.
I noticed that it is a piece of shit. Is it worth the upgrade to a newer, SATA one?

$15 odd, so yeah.

If you save up $15 more you can get http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814102967, it's on par with the 6850. From personal experience it's a really good card for the money.
I completely forgot about the 7000 series cards.
The 7770 is definitely a good choice if you plan on saving $20 might as well save $35 for something even better.
Try defragging or using CCleaner.
I've got an SSD, so defragging is out of the question, and yeah I ran CCleaner and the Registry Cleaner.
Since doing that it's been alright actually. Although it only tends to do it once a day.
I will find out tomorrow
What's a good price to sell a Nvidia 9500GT 1GB at? CeX is offering £17 for it.
Argh, nope. Registry cleaning didn't do the trick, it still seems to be freezing up.
I've got the latest drivers for my USB 3.0 controller, but I can't find any for the USB 2.0 one. Im going to try plugging it into a USB 3.0 port and see how it goes from here.
My mouse has now started to flash on and off. It has a light on it, and it's flashing randomly..
Each time it flashes the mouse stops for a second.
Any ideas on what this could be? A faulty mouse perhaps?
[editline]7th June 2012[/editline]
I ought to mention that it's just started flashing since I plugged it into the USB 3.0 port and it's now doing it in the USB2.0 port aswell.
Should I start an entirely new thread for this?
[editline]7th June 2012[/editline]
I tried my cheapo £5 mouse and that seems to be working fine, I think it's a faulty mouse in this case.
I'm gonna try it in another pc and see how that goes without any drivers at all.
Yeah, it was the drivers.
Uninstalled them and it's fine.
Cheers for the help guys :v:
How do I make Google always show up in English? It used to do this, but now I get the danish version, no matter what I do (even if I press "go to google.com in english".)
I live in Denmark

Try adding &hl=en at the end of the URL. (If there isn't already a '?' in the URL, use ?hl=en instad)
I dual booted windows with linux, but then uninstalled linux and now it still says "please choose an operating system" at startup. How do I get rid of this?

http://helpdeskgeek.com/how-to/fix-mbr-xp-vista/
If you're using 7 just follow the Vista instructions.
You will need the original Windows install disks to do this, OEM restore/factory reset disks wont work.
With 7, you can create a System restore disk on another computer. Type 'Create a System Repair Disc' in the start menu.
So I have a Computer with these specs just sitting here, And I was going to trade it for this laptop.
CPU: Intel Core 2 Duo 2.66ghz E6750
Motherboard: Asus P5Ne-SLi
RAM: 2gb Gskill (2x1GB) DDR2 800
PSU: Ultra 350w
GPU: 8600 GTS
Hard Drive: Seagate 160GB IDE 7200rpm
Case: Rosewill Case
In my opinion it is a pretty fair trade, could use the laptop for traveling and such.
Yes, I know of the battery problem I will purchase a 9 cell in the future.
