I've been out of the UK for 9 years. Heading back to live this summer and thinking of buying a custom built PC. Now I'm aware that there are places online, but I would prefer actually going to a place and having them aid with the build.
Anyone know anywhere? If not what is the best site for PC building in the UK?

The overclockers physical store is pretty awesome.
What do you guys think a second-hand 15-inch laptop with a 320GB HDD, some i5 processor, an ATI 5450m and 4GB of RAM would be worth?
Screen res, make, and model?

Hi guys, so i have this headset "steelseries siberia v1" and i can't seem to locate the drivers for it.
Well, i can actually. But i won't install? It says something with: "insert USB PnP sound device!".
Anyone knows about this?

Or does someone know like a really good headset with a beastly microphone?
Because this one just keeps my volume down, and if i boost it there is a lot of pops.
Is it possible to get popfilter headsets now'a'days?

Does anyone know of a good Quake engine port that doesn't change the visuals much but still allows me to play in 1920x1080 with permanent mouse look?
Does anyone have a good program to lock folders with?

Any others? I'm having some problems getting it to work.
Can somebody recommend me a decent Mic to use for Commentarys on video's and also for online games On PC. Everywhere I look it always reccomends the Blue Snowball or Blue Yeti mic. But i dont really want to spend that much on it. Surely I can get a good quality mic for less than £40
I have good headphones so i dont need a headset. just a standalone
The ModMic is pretty good and many people agree.

It's MUCH cheaper to buy them separately. When you buy a headset, manufacturers just skimp on sound quality either over microphone or earphones unless you shell out. If you buy them as two separate pieces, it's much better.
I was installing something, I made the mistake of pressing express, and now when I open chrome two tabs pop up, one being my home page and the other is an alternate search page I don't want. I uninstalled the plugins but it keeps popping up, is there a fix for this?
Is there any way for me to download the full unactivated game files for STALKER Call of Pripyat? I got a copy of it and all the other STALKERs when my grandfather passed away, and CoP is missing the disk but the key is still inside.
I really didn't want to torrent anything, and don't plan on it
Mopman; try here (put in your browser bar) chrome://chrome/settings/
Right below is the on startup section. Modify what you need to there, then
Scroll down a bit and change default search engine.
Thanks much it worked!

Guess what I just found.
A neat little headset with no mic, guess what I want now. :v:
[editline]18th June 2012[/editline]
But what if I want to buy a new headset to stick it to?
Because the one I have has some defence on the side so it's hard to stick a mic on there.
Which headset would you guys recommend with the modmic?
I have two hardrives from an old computer that I'm pretty sure are RAID 0. They're both 130 Gb. I put them in my computer, formatted them, and now I have a single drive D: that's only 149 Gb. Where is the other 100 Gb and how can I break the RAID?

Nevermind, I figured it out.
Me again, is my laptop capable of running City of Heroes? 2.20Ghz processor, 2GB RAM, AMD 4250 cardy-thing.
Is this SSD worth for the price?

Uhh, By headset I guess you mean Headphones right?? I will be using these: http://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B004QN19UM/ref=asc_df_B004QN19UM8375631?smid=A2OZOPKJCIMQDE&tag=hydra0b-21&linkCode=asn&creative=22218&creativeASIN=B004QN19UM&hvpos=1o1&hvexid=&hvnetw=g&hvrand=13146572251131509630&hvpone=&hvptwo=&hvqmt=
They arnt the best headphones you can buy but I use them all the time due to they dont leak. They sound good enough for games, and they are the most comfortable headphones I have ever owned.
But if you are looking for really good headphones, then Buy some Sennheiser, Audio technica, AKG, or Denon Headphones. Just have a look at some reviews and find the ones you want out of those brands because those are the best headphone Brands.
Check out the Headphone Buying guide Forum on here if you get stuck.
