Wipe magnets over your HDD.
Doesn't it normally uninstall it during installation of the new drivers? Or does the ATI/AMD switch affect that?
what's the best way of uninstalling display drivers? going from a 5770 to a 560ti tomorrow and I don't want any driver clashes
Look up the program "Driver Sweeper".

It's a standard USB A to USB B cable? I have one right besides me.
That should be fine, though I wouldn't recommend an OCZ PSU to anyone because they aren't OEM'd by Seasonic.
what an incredibly stupid thing to say there are better OEMs than seasonic they're good, not the best and not always the best for the situation
So, I'm going to be content for sipwicket, what's pagefile.sys and hiberfil.sys? They're eating 27.8gb of space on my SSD, I probably should've moved or deleted them ages ago, any thoughts?
I know someone's already answered, but if you're curious about what they actually are: hiberfil.sys is used by the hibernate function. It basically stores a copy of whatever is in RAM, so when you boot back up it can instantly restore you to where you left off. It does this because a hard drive or SSD keeps data even without power, while RAM loses the data stored on it whenever the power is shut off. The pagefile.sys is used as "extra RAM". If you try to do something that needs memory, but don't have enough space left in RAM for it, the operating system will store it on disk instead, rather than crashing with an out-of-memory error. It's a lot slower (several hundred times slower, on some hard drives), but better than crashing. It's recommended you don't put this on an SSD, as it can see a lot of activity that will wear your SSD out, quickly.
I have never used a SSD and I have a pretty dumb question. Most times when I read about SSD's it's like you have one for your OS and a few main programs and then a reagular drive for all else. Would it make a difference if I had one SSD just for my OS and programs and one SSD for all my games? Any benifits of this or am I just dense and need to read about them.

SSDs are best for highly-random access or extremely high write throughput. The reason most people don't use SSDs for everything is because they're expensive - usually about ten times as pricey as a similarly-sized hard drive, and even worse for the highest-capacity ones. So storing things that don't benefit from the advantages of an SSD don't make economic sense to put on one. Videos, or documents, gain nothing from an SSD. Games likewise tend to only bottleneck on storage during startup, loading a level, or saving. Sure, if you can afford an SSD that can fit all your games, it can't hurt, but you'd be spending several grand for only marginal gain.

The only things I would recommend getting a dedicated SSD for is your OS, and for applications that seriously benefit from their superb write speed. Things like hosting minecraft servers (thank you elpis host) and Recording video (with fraps or dxtory or something). If read/write speed is one of the biggest bottlenecks a program has, I would recommend using your SSD for it, otherwise yeah, it's not worth the relatively high amount of Dosh you need to buy them.

I'm just curious if this build looked good to everyone or if anyone had any changes they'd like to make: http://secure.newegg.com/WishList/PublicWishDetail.aspx?WishListNumber=17441191

And get a cheaper motherboard instead such as but not limited to: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16813157279 That will give you another $150 to get a better GPU and CPU, my reason being, you can always drop in an SSD later on to compliment the system, it'd be a lot more expensive and wasteful to replace your core components. I need a new mouse pad and was wondering what I should look for. I would prefer one that has a wrist rest and is somewhat big. Mouse I'm using is a g500.

No where near one.
Oh, that's unfortunate. I'm so so sorry :C
On a Mainboard that has 2 PCIe 3.0 x8 slots and one PCIe 2.0 slot, could I run two nVidia cards in SLi and a AMD card in the PCIe 2.0 slot?
got my sweet new (and free) gtx460 from my mate [img_thumb]http://i567.photobucket.com/albums/ss117/elliott235/db0db6d6.jpg[/img_thumb] image is of someone elses gtx460, but it's exactly the same model only problem is when i snap it in, the computer doesn't detect it. i have two other GPU's and when i snap those in to the mobo the computer detects them, auto installs them and they run fine what could be causing the computer to not detect this one?
What other GPUs are those?
What other GPUs are those?
one of them is a AMD HD 3450 something or other (pretty shit) the other i have no idea but i know it's a nvidea 9600 i think? good enough to run fallout NV on high
-broken keybo-
So i rechived my modmic today, i added the clasp but it's like a 20-30 degrees off, and it annoys me. It bends the wire a lot and i know after time it will bend and break. I have an extra clasp, but can i remove the current one without removing the sticky part of it?
Does someone here know of a program that streams and syncs music with multiple users?
can I change my PSU fan speed? I can run my CPU fan and my GPU fan at really low speeds and my CPU will stay under 50-60 and my GPU will stay under 80 under load but my PSU for some reason when something intensive happens spins up like hell even though I can feel it pushing out cold air
Does someone here know of a program that streams and syncs music with multiple users?
Be a little more specific. Are you talking over a home network or through a server/website?
Is Well I'd assume that oyur motherboard has some issues with this newer graphics card, I'm not usre on the specifics tho.
are drunk?
are drunk?
No, he isn't the best with english. Stop being an asshole.
Be a little more specific. Are you talking over a home network or through a server/website?
Me as the host and other people as the listener across the internet. Doesn't matter though, I figured out shoutcast from winamp. Only thing is is that I don't have direct control over the playlists and whatnot.
