BRT bought one, from what I can gather from reading snippets, he had a lot of issues with it.
Damn, well it was nearly to big to fit under my desk properly anyways. It looks like it has quite the nice array of features but I'm not fond on the styling with the handles. Looking at some of the full tower lian li's, it feels like they are outdated as far as the layout is concerned and from what I'm reading it appears the quality has dropped over the last few years without a drop in price. The Raven cases look to tight with a block of GPU's. Just saw this for the first time, I don't know if it's been discuessed here yet but damn, the 11 year old in me is screaming to buy this. Take that 'Humvee HAF'.

The Raven cases look to tight with a block of GPU's.
I'd go for one of those Ravens or Silverstone Fortress cases, from reviews they seem to deal with heat from the GPU better than conventional layout cases due to natural airflow from the GPUs going upwards, plus I love the way they look, I'd get one if they weren't so expensive and large, my hardware isn't high-end enough to warrant one anyway.

I actually don't mind the way that looks, much better than the Cosmos II or HAF in my opinion anyway, that red power button looks like you're about to start world war III with every boot-up.
It's the result of forced copulation between an 650D and an ammo can.
What have you against going the liquid cooling route anyway? It would make choosing a case much easier, would give you much better results from all the money you're spending on the hardware too, and from the last liquid cooling build I did (single 690, 3770k) it's quite affordable, if you don't get the ridiculously priced water blocks.

I just don't like the idea of making everything more expensive, you've still got to buy fans, radiators, pumps, reservoirs and blocks, and it'd add up quickly when you've got to buy blocks for three cards. It looks cool and performs well but I won't be overclocking, I just want a high quality air setup that will keep the hardware alive till the next build.

I have been looking to buy a new laptop because my one was a quick buy and an immediate regret. I want to buy a laptop around the 600-700 euro mark, and I want it to be able to play games decently. Not a gaming machine like maxing everything out but it would be nice to be able to play every game out at the moment. I'm in Ireland so I am a bit limited for choices but I was looking here: http://www.komplett.ie/Komplett/catalog/zkb_02pc/02_noteboo/default.aspx At any of the Asus laptops. Some of them have a 610M in it so it might be okay? Just wondering which you guys would recommend would be good!
Interesting, anyone have experience with the COSMOS II?
● Heavy. Like nearly 100lbs heavy when you load in your hardware. ● The Handles do not help as they shift the weight and make it hard to lift. ● Takes two people to move my computer. ● Doors don't "effortlessly" go back on, you might end up fumbling to put the door on for a few minutes. ● Onboard Fan controller has very little control and shorts out easily, only one channel works on mine now, out of like 5 I think. ● The control pad feels cheap and tricky to use in the dark. ● The CPU backplate area is too small. I had to put the heatsink on my mobo before inserting it. ● The Clearance from the top of the mobo to the top of the inside of the case is crazy small. You will kill your hands plugging anything in up there, and with fans you're Looking at like half an inch of clearance, versus like 5 inches in some other cases. ● No wheels, only rubber feet. ● The hotswap bays catch on drives that aren't a full 3.5" form factor. ● All the fan filters cause any fans not running at 3000rpm to move to no air. Nothing. I cut out all my filters and just deal with dusting my PC. ● Very little watecooling potential, unless you're on average hardware with low end GPU's. ● The top opening also has the fine mesh fan filters causing no air to be vented unless you're on like 2000rpm fans. I completely took it out. The case is huge, but so much of that space is not seen inside, It's a wasteful design. I did a lot of cutting to make it work for me. Currently it's a great case, but took my months of tinkering to make it usable. With the default config, I'd have to run all my fans at max to move any air through the fan filters. Cutting them out lets me run my system at barely audible levels even when running BF3 with two aircooled GTX580's. If watercooling, look elsewhere. If Aircooling, look elsewhere or prepare to get the dremel out. [editline]5th July 2012[/editline] If you have the money, go with a caselabs M8 or M10. I think those are beautiful, and when I rebuild this system at the end of the year I plan on going with a TH10
I really need soem recommendations on cases that can fit ATX with 30 cm graphic cards (3) and still keep the HDD cage, loads of HDD slots are a plus.
Could anyone suggest me a nice mp3 player under £30
Sansa clip
Could you be more specific?
I'm in desperate need of a new phone becuase my old one is...old and not working 100% and wonder if the Samsung Galaxy S II is still a good phone to buy. It's a bit over my budget but if it's good I will buy it when I get my pay.
Asking again and I wonder if the S3 is worth the extra cost? I'm not sure I have to money for it but I maybe will.
Hey guys, I need a graphics card that can run S.T.A.L.K.E.R. CoP on at least medium settings but I have no idea which one to get. Also, in case you need to know, my current resolution is 1842 x 1036 and my CPU is a Intel Core 2 Duo E6750 at 2.66GHz.
Budget? Have a look at the 6850/6870
As cheap as possible really. Nothing over £50 at most, though I don't mind going a bit over. Looking at the Asus GeForce GTX 550Ti right now, not sure if I should though.
HD 6870 is worth taking a look at although it costs more than £50. I would suggest you to save more money. I bought this one and it's running great.: http://www.scan.co.uk/products/1gb-xfx-hd-6870-4200mhz-gddr5-gpu-900mhz-1120-cores-eyefinity-hdmi-2x-mini-displayport-2x-dvi-i
I think this is the right section but i'm having a really weird steam glitch. I had a friend who appeared offline in chat, but appeared online on his steam profile. The first thing i tried was blocking and unblocking him which didn't work, then i tried readding him but when i removed him and tried readding him it gave me the error "Error adding friend, please try again later." I've tried reinstalling, blocking and unblocking and none of those work.
I have the m9426f pavilion http://h10025.www1.hp.com/ewfrf/wc/document?docname=c01570954&cc=us&dlc=en&lc=en&product=3816187#N959 I'm looking to buy a GTX 560
Standard Graphics Card Dimensions: 8.25 inches Length 4.376 inches Height Dual slot Width
But I'm not good with technical details such as this - my computer cases length
Mid-size ATX Height: 39.6 cm (15.6 inches) Width: 18 cm (7.09 inches) Length: 42.8 cm (16.85 inches)

Bay |||||||Total Bays* 13.33 cm (5.25 inch) ||| 2 8.89 cm (3.5 inch) ||| 3 * Bays may be occupied by existing hardware.
So I've come to FP for a quick question - would it fit from just this information?

Who makes good external hard drives?
my computer kept bsod'ing last week, and ultimately i wasnt even able to enter windows (even in safe mode) i looked up things on google and found some people had the same issue, it was a memory problem. As a solution, I proceeded to take out each piece of ram (4 x 4 gb) and try each piece in every slot on the motherboard and boot it. so i did sixteen configurations. They all I worked, so finally, I just put all the ram back in and its been working fine. There has been an occasional freeze where I have to manually restart it, but that has been twice. I'm beginning to wonder if it's my ram or my motherboard. Thoughts? [editline]5th July 2012[/editline]
Who makes good external hard drives?
i had a wd passport and that crapped out on me, i have a 2 tb seagate goflex now and its been fine (its ac powered though)
I've also seen two WD passports fail within 2 years of ownership.
Who makes good external hard drives?
I've owned a powered 1TB WD for a few years now and it works perfectly. [editline]5th July 2012[/editline] I've had a bad track record with Seagates, though.
Any suggestions on a decent 24'' LED monitor somewhere around £150?
Who makes good external hard drives?
Personally, I'd just throw your own together. Buy a internal HDD of whatever size. Buy an enclosure. Bam, external HDD. They literally piece together in one way and one way only.
Can anyone recommend me a good 27inch monitor? I have an older 27inch iMac that I'm selling off to help fund a new computer. The one thing that I'll really miss is the screen, which I absolutely love. I looked online and found out that buying an Apple display alone costs $999... which I would rather not pay just for a monitor. Anyone have any suggestions?
You won't find a monitor with that resolution for less than $900 usually
