You need the GCF file.
Crap. I forgot those. And even trying ot start it will say that it's missing a file.
Hope this is the right thread to ask. I currently got a VPS in America for a BYOND server but after some testing we found out it lags horribly for Europeans like me so im going to break the contract and go for a new one. But i can't seem to find a decent custom VPS hoster. The VPS needs: 2 GB RAM 5 - 10 GB HDD 900 GB - 1 TB Bandwidth I can only find VPS's which you get like 2 TB HDD space once you go for a 2 GB RAM plan, with that the price goes up to 300-400 dollar a month, the current VPS was 35 dollar.

You could try to contact them (he's on Facepunch too I believe) to see if he can do anything about the RAM.
Yet again. The Windows Key + L doesn't lock my computer anymore. A little sound plays, nothing else. Any ideas?
Best, and most reliable web host? Money isn't an issue.
Best, and most reliable web host? Money isn't an issue.
if money isnt an issue, then buy a vps, and install a webserver on it. afaik Hexxeh is offering a vps service
if money isnt an issue, then buy a vps, and install a webserver on it.
Well it's not for me, and I'm not maintaining it. It's for a friend who is less tech savvy as me. I suppose I should have said that.
Somebody has that thing what adds the Require Ownership thingy? I would love it right now.
I seem to be having problems starting CCC. For some reason I can't start it even after a full driver re-installation. Looked around on the Google and really haven't found anything that really helps. .

It's better to copy it into a text editor to read it easily. Here's mine: (each path is separated by a ;)
C:\Program Files (x86)\AMD APP\bin\x86_64; C:\Program Files (x86)\NVIDIA Corporation\PhysX\Common; %SystemRoot%\system32; %SystemRoot%; %SystemRoot%\System32\Wbem; %SYSTEMROOT%\System32\WindowsPowerShell\v1.0\; C:\Program Files (x86)\ATI\ATI.ACE\Core-Static; C:\Program Files (x86)\Java\jre6\bin;
To be honest this is probably not the problem but when I checked before the path was wrong and it was stopping CCC from opening.
I need a new monitor, nothing wrong with my current one (LG Flatron 1680x1050) but I want one with 1920x1080 or higher and run this as second monitor. Any recommendations for a good one that isn't too pricy? I got about 700€ for a monitor and a new GPU. (Looking at a GTX 670 so feel free to recommend a GPU aswell, has to be in the same budget as monitor so I can afford both) Current monitor: LG Flatron w2242s 22'' [t]http://img.bazarek.pl/305421/16827/2897905/8536795464ec8e0086f429.jpg[/t] Current GPU: Sapphire HD 6850 I might also need a new case since this one has awful airflow (some budget coolermaster case with little to no space left and no cable managment) so I might be able to get a new budget for that aswell. Otherwise it will be 700€ for a 1920x1080 monitor, new GPU and a decent case. Doesn't have to be a super expensive monitor aslong as it is 1920x1080. Budget in different curriencies; 6000 Swedish kronor, 700 eur, $861 (People can build good PCs with this budget in the US? Wow, shit's expensive here), 553£
Okay, alternative question: if I download an Ultimate ISO, would my Home Premium key work (and install it as HP - I'm honestly not trying to steal an upgrade here)?
- Download an ISO for whatever the hell edition. - If it doesn't match the edition you need, go into the ISO with an archive manager and delete sources/ei.cfg - Burn the disc. At install time, it will ask what edition you want to install for.

Looking to grab two 64gb SSDs to replace my Vertex plus, have a couple questions however: Are the Samsung 830s any good? My budget is £110 for both. I'm looking to run these SSDs in RAID0, but I have no experience in doing so, how would I do this, can I do it via software or will I need a hardware solution? (M4A89GTD/1090T). Cheers.
The Samsung 830 is the best SSD in terms of price/performance/stability right now. Even Apple use them in the new MacBook's.
Are the Samsung 830s any good? My budget is £110 for both.
As far as I know the Samsung 830's are fine and dandy. I bought a 128GB yesterday and it works fine, but I've got no experience with any other SSD's so I can't know for sure if they are better than most. I did however do lots of research upon my purchase and for 137$ I chose the 830 over a Crucial m4 which was a little more expensive and a little bit slower in some cases.
Looks like I'm getting two Samsung 830s, wonder how much of a speed increase they'll be in softRAID-0 over my current Vertex plus.
Raiding SSD's isn't always a good idea. If you mean software in windows, it might be ok.
Raiding SSD's isn't always a good idea. If you mean software in windows, it might be ok.
What would you consider the best way to RAID SSDs via software? There seems to be quite a few solutions, I planned to use Windows.
Question: Virtual desktops. I've grown reliant on them in Linux and OS X. What's the best way to get them working in Windows? Preferably while retaining multi-monitor support as well. I know there's several apps out there that do it - which is your recommendation?
My question is regarding Linux. I'm very new to it so keep in mind I do not know anything really about it. Anyways, I got my Raspberry Pi today and put Debian "Squeeze" on it. I've gotten use the the desktop and all. I went back to my humble bundle games and downloaded VVVVVV (.deb). I double clicked it, nothing happened, and now theres a shortcut in my games for VVVVVV. When I click it nothing happens. Help?

It's called "nView". not sure how it handles multimonitor though, I haven't used it in some time.

Hey, what the fuck where'd it go [editline]11th July 2012[/editline] IT'S WORKING, BITCHES. Download this (7Z, 5 MB), run nviewsetup.exe in XP compatibility mode. Because APPARENTLY Windows Vista and up isn't allowed to use nView unless you have a Quadro card. i shall harvest the files from the latest drivers and make a new CAB later.
A question for anyone as well; I am preparing to host a HTTP server, with Web Toolkit or something C++ related (maybe CppCMS). Personally I am looking at Apache, or another UNIX-like system, but I am honestly searching for the most fundamental, down-to-earth, server to run, simplistically speaking. After this thread-find, with this momentum, any ideas or directions?
Quote from a previous thread; much appreciation to anyone with any input.
Not sure if this is a stupid question or not but Is there any reason why some older games like Killing Floor run at 20fps when there's a lot of shit going on (60fps when there's almost absolutely nothing going on) But when I play something like Syndicate, the lowest it goes is like 35fps, League of Legends never goes below 40fps or something, and most source games go down to 30fps at the bare minimum? My pc specs: It's a laptop
It is a combination of your RAM and the game engine I suppose, but don't worry.
Is "Warez" pronounced "Wheres" or "Where-ehz"? Because it just occurred to me that it might not be "Where-ehz".
