what would be the best monitor for gaming for under $300
Thinking about getting one of those radio microphones for my computer for gaming and radio like podcasting. Was wondering what the best one was? Pricing is not an issue. [editline]22nd July 2012[/editline] Was looking at this but I'm not sure if the quality is what I'm looking for http://www.amazon.com/PSA-Swivel-Mount-Studio-Microphone/dp/B001D7UYBO/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1342984539&sr=8-1&keywords=radio+microphone
I had that mount before. I didn't like it at all. I much more recommend the Heil PL2T.
So I've been tasked with recovering some images off a Micro SD card that was formatted, how would I go about this? Google just comes up with software that costs, freeware would be nice. Or just being told it's not possible would make my life easier.

If the SD card hasn't been used since it was formatted there's a good chance Recuva will see the files but I'm not really sure if SD cards work the same way HDD's do.
I'm pretty sure Recuva does SD cards, but it's certainly not the same thing as HDDs
If the SD card hasn't been used since it was formatted there's a good chance Recuva will see the files but I'm not really sure if SD cards work the same way HDD's do.
They don't have to work the same way. What does work is that the system deletes the pointer to the file, so it's invisible.
I had that mount before. I didn't like it at all. I much more recommend the Heil PL2T.
I realized it was just a mount and not a mic, so I decided to avoid that and considered the Blue I posted above.

1000 potatoes?
1000 potatoes?
That's a lot of potatoes. But seriously, sager has a 17.3in with a gtx 660 in it for 960 I think. Might be worth looking into. (http://www.xoticpc.com/sager-np6370-clevo-w370et-preorder-p-4796.html?wconfigure=yes)
Yea i should have stated 1000 USD that was silly of me :v: But interesting site, i've never heard of these guys before. I take it they are reliable laptops?
Yes, Sager is made by Clevo which is one of the best laptop manufacturers.
Yes, Sager is made by Clevo which is one of the best laptop manufacturers.
Awesome. Im looking at their website now and they have exactly what i need around a good price range, pretty sweet. I also did find this one http://www.tigerdirect.com/applications/SearchTools/item-details.asp?EdpNo=2819131&CatId=3998 which is about the same price as those sager ones with the same specs but i'll definitely be looking into Sager
I can't be the only one but lately (say about a day or 2 ago) Flash has been crashing a lot and refuses to even load some websites that use flash (youtube still opens and plays videos). Even with Chrome's flash and whatever flash I have installed for something else.
Flash 11 seems utterly broken. I have a Flash 10 installer around here somewhere if you want it. (Facebook will tell you to update Flash if you click a YouTube video but if you open the video in a new tab or do anything else it works fine)
what would be the cheapest upgrade that would yield the most performance increase? i've been told getting a 8gb ramkit would make BF3 run butter smooth on this system, but i don't believe that.
What's the best way to prevent interferance (I presume) between my mouse and headphones, whose jack goes right next to my mouse's usb one (Can't move headphones to back hole since speaker go there), because it makes dubstep noises whenever I move my mouse.

Does anyone know the solution to the problem in the newest build of Chrome (Version 22.0.1207.1) in which youtube videos, when put into full screen on a secondary monitor, open up in the primary monitor? I've scoured the internet with no results. Also, and I'm not sure if this is related, flash games that use the keyboard don't respond to presses. (like, if I use the arrow keys to move my guy it scrolls the page).
Does leaving your pc on all the time really have that much of an impact on hardware life-time?
It doesnt change the lifetime at all bb. (Well almost) But instead of 365 days you only get 182 days with it, considering that you use it 12 hours a day and have it idle for the other 12. Of course if your (room) cooling is bad and the hardware is permanently at temperatures that significantly speed up the deterioration process, you also lose time there. [editline]24th July 2012[/editline] tl;dr: Shut your shit off, punk!
Does leaving your pc on all the time really have that much of an impact on hardware life-time?
Normal hardware besides freak failure will last over 10 years easily. Though usually HD goes first, then mobo, then video card, then CPU, etc. Somethings just have more wear than others. Though in reality, running components more intensively is what will run down their life. Leaving a system idling is putting barely strain on it. If you're putting load on it for hours, days, weeks that will definitely take some out of the life of the components, but let's be honest, you didn't buy the equipment to not use it. TL:DR it affects life, but components usually last a very long time unless acted upon.
so i'm installing windows vista, if i install it on a partition (labelled Primary) that doesn't already have XP on it, will it let me dualboot them or will i cause a nuclear explosion? [editline]24th July 2012[/editline] and will it format the drive?
Why would you install Vista? Ever? Also no it should not format any drives.
Why would you install Vista? Ever? Also no it should not format any drives.
good. also i only have a vista disk and my wireless ethernet card's drivers don't work on 64 bit.
