It is compatible when you have the right slot and enough Wattsssssss

And AMD boards don't have PCI-E 3 I think.
So I'm thinking about grabbing the GTX 670, this one specifically: http://www.amazon.co.uk/Palit-GeForce-Graphics-Architecture-Surround/dp/B00822ZZS0/ref=sr_1_1?s=computers&ie=UTF8&qid=1343291566&sr=1-1
I was wondering if it's compatible with this PSU: http://www.amazon.co.uk/Corsair-CMPSU-600CXV2UK-Builder-Series-Supply/dp/B0050AFU46/ref=sr_1_1?s=computers&ie=UTF8&qid=1343292032&sr=1-1
and this motherboard: http://www.asus.com/Motherboards/AMD_AM3/M4A77TUSB3/

Buy the Gigabyte version instead, so much better cooling.
Depending on how much dosh I get for my current card and an electric drum kit I will be selling, I'll see what options I have. Looking at people selling the same card and kit as me I estimate I'd get around £200ish. I may pay the extra for that card though.
It is worth it.

I'm looking into buying a server (physical) to test around with, do I need some extreme internet connection to host some games from the Source engine?
Not really. Depends on what you're hosting and how many slots. As long as you have a decent upload and a decent quality connection you should be fine, run a speedtest anyhow and use a general rule of thumb, .50mb/s is 1 player, since you'll be using 66 as default unless you want to raise the rates to 101.
Megabit or megabyte? Just making sure.
That is very optimistic, also a way bigger factor is the latency.
I'm having a problem where any reCaptcha code I enter is always incorrect on every site. I've been getting this for about 6 months now and it makes it impossible to do anything. This problem only seems to come up on Google Chrome though. I tried clearing my cache/cookies but that didn't seem to help me at all. Does anyone know how to fix this?
Does anyone know of any good external soundcard (USB) for Audiophiles like me? I'm planning an ITX computer that won't have expansion slots for my internal soundcard..
I've been looking at Creative X-Fi HD, but I'm still not sure..
Fiio E9/E10
I just finished building my first computer and installed the drives for the mobo and video card. I was wondering if there are any good programs that automatically check for new drivers and install them for you.
Is there anyway to lock my mouse to a window? I looked for something, but I could only find programs to lock my mouse to a monitor, but when I play TF2 and swipe my mouse to quickly while firing, it clicks outside of the window.

I wouldn't bother, just update GPU drivers every couple months when you remember to and you're fine, motherboard/chipset drivers and almost never have updates that improve performance or change a whole lot, they usually fix uncommon issues or update for newer hardware.
Very rarely, whether just simply on desktop or in game, sometimes my screen just dims for a few second and then picture comes up again. So just a sudden black screen for about 2 seconds.
What could be it? Also this happens comfortably rarely.
Is the Athlon II X4 640 a bad processor? I've been told it's the reason I have less-than-stellar performance in some games, and that it's outdated. If so, is there a processor that's made by AMD but on par with and i5/i7 processor? I'd prefer not to have to upgrade my mobo too to get another processor.

I wouldn't say "bad", but it is getting dated (and wasn't top-of-the-line to begin with). It depends, somewhat, on the rest of your system.
If you want to stick with AMD, your best option is a Phenom. Even a Phenom II X4 would be *an* improvement, but if you can find one (and your rig can handle one), go for an X6. Avoid the new AMD FX processors - they are in many cases weaker than their older Phenoms, cost more, and use more power and generate more heat. You still won't be quite on par with an i5 or i7, but you'll be much closer.
Could use a bit of help regarding port forwarding, I've forwarded the following ports

When I check if they're open using http://canyouseeme.org/ it says the connection timed out, if I disable the windows firewall and Microsoft Security Essentials, it says connection refused. I forwarded port 80, and it sees that its open. Anyone know why all the other ports don't work?

The Fiio E10 got lots of good feedback on the swedish market, thanks for the tip!

Hey, guys. I've been making ISOs of my old games (UT2k4, Freelancer, etc). Freelancer installs fine, but whenever I try to make an image it just gives me read errors. So is it legal, in Australia, for me to download an ISO of the game?
So im getting a new computer, but my router is upstairs because my brother is using it and i cant connect my desktop to it. Is there any other way for me to connect to the internet without using cables or anything like that?
Any help is appreciated
Actually would i be able to share my internet with my laptop with an ethernet cable?
Toasting it here too:
I just had a thought regarding my Digital Optical Output of my sound card to my cinema system's amp/general control unit. Does this mean it'll be using the DAC in my amp as opposed to my sound card? If so would I probably get better sound if I used a 3.5mm lead?

Yes.
Depends entirely on what DAC is used in each and how the well designed the circuitry around it is.

Really? a six-core Phenom would still be worse than an i5/i7? Jeez. The only reason I want to stay with AMD is because I don't want to dish out $400 for a motherboard and a processor.

Try ripping the disk with LC ISO creator

Going from memory here, but I recall reviews showing the Phenom X6 is roughly on par with a quad-core i5. However, that's more than sufficient for most purposes. With overclocking, they can do quite well.
AMD is really falling behind, now. They used to be awesome - better processors at lower prices - but now they're the opposite, at least for desktops. Their hybrid CPU/GPU laptop processors are reportedly pretty good, but those aren't meant for serious use.
Are Phenom x6s around the same price as a quad-core i5? or is it more expensive? The main reason I'm asking about this is that I'm getting framerate issues in some processor-heavy games.
Depends on where you buy, but they should be about the same. And when you factor in not needing a new mobo, it's probably worth it.
Although I would consider how long you think it will be before you need a major overhaul. If you think this will extend the useful life of your computer enough to justify the price ($100-$150), go for it; but also consider whether you would end up replacing this processor too quickly to be worth it.
snip, fixed it
What temperatures should my CPU, mobo, and video card be at? I'm new to the PC gaiming scen so Im curious about all the little. Like, what should the temperature be around when I'm idle/web browsing, and when I'm gaming what should it be around? When is it too hot? Thanks in advance!

The rest of my PC is fine, but when I bought the parts I kinda cheaped out on the Processor, 'cause I found it for $100 where everything else was $150-$300. I figured it would be fine because it was a quad core :v:
What's the best AntiVirus to install on a Game Server running Windows Server 2008? Or don't I need one?
Is there a way to add the Inbox label to Bulk mails in Gmail? If I remove the "Bulk" tag, it just goes straight to the archive, and I want to have it go to my inbox.
