But that's like another £100 for a similar one :(
You don't need 900w.
A good quality 650w would be more than enough for cf 6870.
Alright, i'm getting a bit of pocket money soon and I need help deciding on a mouse, keyboard and headset.
I can spend a decent amount of money but not like £130 for a Blackwidow ultimate shit.
I was thinking of getting a Razer Anansi 'cause of the amount of WoW I play, but I also play other games too, but another thing that put me off is that it isn't mechanical, its dome keys.
I was also thinking of getting the Gamescom 780 headset as it's £40 and really really good for the price. So i've heard from a handful of reviews and a couple friends. (http://www.plantronics.com/us/product/gamecom-780)
Not really sure about the mouse, I wanted to get the Naga molten but i'm left handed and I don't think pressing the macro keys would be easy with mylittle finger and the useless third finger, but i'm not too sure.
Any advice would be nice. £200 would be ideal but I may be able to stretch it a little bit. I recently bought a new rig so I can't spend too much. Thanks guys.
Not sure of a keyboard to get, but the headphones come in black too.
Okay this has probably been asked before but I can't be bothered to search through the thread.
Just finished installing my new PC. I installed Microsoft Security Essentials and had planned to install another Anti Virus. But do I need to?
In the past I never used (or knew about) MSE and went straight to another Anti Virus option.
EDIT:
I'm blind. found a thread...
Sadly I want good looking gear, and a headset, not separate mic and headphones, i'm trying to make a nice, clean setup 'cause i'm sick of being in a little hovel of a room for over half a day.

You're shooting yourself in the foot then.

Problem Solved
Alright, i've got all but the keyboard sorted. Thank's for the help!
I'm getting the Gamescom 780 and a Naga Molten (yes i'm a huge faggot for getting razer hurhruhru).
Now, I'm not sure whether to get the anansi to accompany the naga or a mechanical keyboard.
Any GOOD keyboard suggestions? Pure gaming pretty much, I have about £100 to blow.
No one has any advice for my crysis issues?

Don't ask for help if you won't listen to suggestions.
I wanted last minute suggestions before I bought, and I don't really like the gear you pointed out to me, the mouse I currently have is better than the one you showed me, the mic you pointed out to me looked really shitty and poor, plus I asked for a headset.
I'm willing to listen to suggestions that I like.

Both of the mics pointed out are far better than the mic you'll get on any AIO headset.
The g400 has one of the best laser's out of all the mice, including the naga. Dpi isn't everything, and the g400 is half the price. Get the g400 or razer deathadder.
Those gamecom headsets suck. Not over exaggerating because it's a "gamer" headset. I'm saying that because it sucks. Your money is much better spent with a headphone+mic combo. And that "cheap" zalman mic probably sounds better than the cheap one they put on headsets.
Here are my suggestions for you:

Sorry for offending you, your Highness.
Sorry for being a cunt, I'll buy the mic and headset in a couple weeks.

Changing the settings in the game makes almost no difference, there's maybe a 10 fps difference between Low and High, changing resolution doesn't help, haven't even tried turning on AA. It's this that convinces me that it's the processor causing the problem, but it does fine in most other games, except maybe the ones that are especially hard on the processor ( like GTA IV, Skyrim) but these can be helped by lowering draw distance. I don't know of a way to do that in Crysis. My main issue here is that Crysis is almost five years old, but my rig runs it TERRIBLY even though it runs much better looking games much better.
CPU is a bit weak, but it should easily run the game at 60FPS. I was able to run it on medium settings on my Core 2 Duo / GeForce 9600 laptop back in the day, and I can max it out on my current rig.
Sounds to me like some sort of software problem. Are you on the latest drivers? Any weird software running?
Latest drivers, no weird software, but as I said before, task manager says it's only using about 16% of my processor, where every other game I own uses at least 60%. It's only with Crysis, as far as I know.
Try reinstalling it.
The first time I installed it, something fucked up and most of the graphics were borked. Stuff not rendering, sounds all out of synch, and more than a bit of stuttering. Wiping it and redownloading fixed it. That doesn't sound exactly like what you're experiencing, but I'm running out of ideas.
Was hoping I wouldn't have to, but I can let it download overnight. hopefully that fixes it.
EDIT: Reinstall did nothing to help. Checked again, the game is actually using about 40-50% of my CPU, but it's still running like shit.
I've been wanting to put together a portfolio/blog website where I can post my work and give updates on projects. Any idea where to start?

I've been looking around about my problem, and a lot of people say it's just because crysis is a terribly coded game. Does anyone know if this is actually the case? I'm about to ask steam for a refund since the game is so fucking broken.
Does DreamScene support XP SP3? I heard I was delivered for Vista and I want to make an animated background.
I am looking for an alternative to the Windows Sound Mixer, because I hate the way the master volume works. When talking to one of my friends online their mic is really low volume, so I have to turn my volume up, taking the master volume up with it. The next application that launches then proceeds to rape my eardrums.
Anyone know a good volume manager (as in sound)?
Is it possible to import email with IMAP to gmail?

is it worth buying a SSD cache drive? namely the OCZ Synapse 128GB one.
using 12.6 CCC on a ATI HD 7870 im getting Rage flicking and tearing all over the bitch, shits on like Babylon and its driving me crazy
turned up my graphics setting including AA up to 8x, and texture quality and now its fine, triple buffering made no change but I did have to apply it to the rage.exe
is it worth buying a SSD cache drive? namely the OCZ Synapse 128GB one.
OCZ is terrible
