Do you have to go witg cricket?
Do you have to go witg cricket?
Maybe, maybe not. The plan they're getting currently is $50-$60, but the phone itself is around that price too.
I'll post this in the deus ex thread aswell but, anyone know why I can only pick 59hz in options in deus ex hr? 60hz worked fine on my last gpu (6850HD) but not on this GTX 670, is this a driver issue? FYI this causes me to get max 38 fps on any setting when I could max this game out with 60 fps constant on 6850.
I'm looking for a good keyboard (cable). I'm currently using wireless and I'm sick of it going offline for no reason. And I would prefer not having one of those expensive, "gaming" keyboards with unnecessary keys.

I literally still use my microsoft comfort curve from 5 or 6 years ago, it's comfortable to type on, non-mechanical, has a good amount of useful media buttons, and has nice response, i use it for gaming too with no problems. Best of all its about £15/$20 ish. Saying that I know alot of people who like mechanical keyboards, so it may be worth looking into those ( i think there may actually be a keyboard thread around somewhere).
My Motorla Atrix 4g is having problems with the battery. It suddenly goes from 100% battery to 0% in around 1-2 hours. I've had this problem before, but solved it by simply taking out the battery and putting it in again. Does anyone know what the problem could be, and how I can solve it. [editline]10th August 2012[/editline] It also gets quite hot (compared to normal). I'm guessing it's a hardware/battery problem, and not software.

How do I open this file? I understand it's a mac file? And stuffit it didnt work as it didnt recognise it. https://dl.dropbox.com/u/22254898/New%20folder/%C3%89.sit
I just got a new laptop (lenovo ideapad y580), and whenever I play games hooked up to the charging cable, they run fine at a good framerate, but when I take the laptop off the cable, the games run the same, but every 10 or so seconds my framerate goes down to like, 5-10 fps for a few seconds. I've checked my power options, and set it to "high performance", but nothing changes. Specs: Windows 7 i7 quad core @ 2.3 Ghz 8 Gbs RAM GTX 660M Anyone know how I can get rid of this? it doesn't happen on older games (like Morrowind), just newer ones.
Make sure your wireless adapters are set to not allow the PC to turn them off to save power.

https://dl.dropbox.com/u/22254898/New%20folder/%C3%89.sit
Damn, I've opened one of those before, but I can't remember how (it was like seven years ago). Think I set up a Mac OS 8 partition in a PPC emulator, but that may have been to run the contents of it, not just to open it. My own quick question - can I do multi-screen gaming on a GeForce 660M? Like, if I get three screens plugged in, can I get a game stretched across all three? I did some quick tests, couldn't get Skyrim to do it, but I think I just missed the right setting. Or are laptop cards "not allowed" to do that?

He had a 500mobile series card. Can't remember the exact one though.

Thanks though.

Hello everyone, quick question. If I click a link when chrome is not open, it leads me to a blank grayish blue page, and won't load. If chrome is open though, it creates a new tab. This is pretty annoying, because when clicking BF3, I just get chrome popping up to a blank page. I have tried re installing several times. Any help would be appreciated.

It's pretty annoying, especially if you have set a custom page which should open every time you open Chrome.

Is the performance of a 6870 over a 6850 worth the premium?
Is the performance of a 6870 over a 6850 worth the premium?
If you have the money for it then yes, otherwise the 6850 will do fine.
2GB EVGA GTX 670, 915MHz GPU, 1344 Cores, 6008MHz GDDR5 or 2GB EVGA GTX 680 SC, 1084MHz GPU, 1536 Cores, 6208MHz GDDR5 I've read that the increase in performance on the 680 is negligible. Would I be better, bang for buck wise, to put in the 670? I'm so behind on GPUs I'd really like someone to just tell me what the better options are for a 1kish gamign build.
Just get the 670, i have mine overclocked to a 680 anyway.
Just get the 670, i have mine overclocked to a 680 anyway.
What are the temperatures like on the OC, and is it fairly easy to do? (Never OC'd anything before :p)
What are the temperatures like on the OC, and is it fairly easy to do? (Never OC'd anything before :p)
It practically overclocks itself.
I have a fan preset with evga precision, and it never gets above 65c. And yes, it does overlock itself. You just set a memory, clock speed, and voltage offset and it overclocks when you need it.
Well I've been thinking of getting the 670, still kind of confused as to whether the 4gb version is worth the extra money? Is it essentially only beneficial at higher res? I've onyl got a 1680x1050 single screen display, and I dont plan on changing that anytime soon, so would the 670 2gb be the best option?
2gb will be more than enough. Especially at the resolution. Maybe if you get a multimonitor setup you would need 4gb, but at that point, one 670 wouldn't be enough anyway.

I think I'll go for the 670 and save the extra money to put into a i7 processor (i've got a PC building thread that I'm asking this in benefit of: http://www.facepunch.com/showthread.php?t=1204606)
One of the panels on the bottom of my laptop recently dislodged itself a bit. I don't know how it happened but one side of it somehow popped up and I'm slightly worried about it. As far as I can tell I could just unscrew the whole thing and reinsert it but I'm afraid of messing with technology and feel I may somehow break the laptop entirely. Basically what I'm asking if it would be safe to unscrew the panel (while the computer is off obviously) and put it back in. I just want to make sure I wont dislodge anything else in the process or something like that. Here are some incredibly shitty photos of what I'm talking about taken with my iPod camera [img_thumb]http://i.imgur.com/YUxzk.jpg[/img_thumb] [img_thumb]http://i.imgur.com/LZqyW.jpg[/img_thumb] If there's anything else I should do please let me know.
Hey guys I'm thinking about getting a 670 and I'm wondering which version to get. I like to overclock. Agree for EVGA, disagree for ASUS DirectCU, and funny for MSi twin frozr 4.
